Good selection of problem solving activities ..particularly for 11 + exam practice.Glad there are answers at the back as some I couldn't even do . Very tricky but good for brain development !

Has mistakes. Don’t buy.

This is overall a very good maths study book and the collection of puzzles contained within are very diverse, entertaining and challenging in varying ways and to different degrees.Sadly however the attention to detail is pretty poor and my son and I have found several questions where the answers are incorrect (e.g. question 13 page 23 or question 4 page 40), or there are several equally valid correct answers (e.g. question 8 page 43).For a book designed to teach young children maths I do feel that the book should have had better proof reading.

We love this book! We’ve really enjoyed doing these puzzles as a family with our sons, age 10 and 8. The puzzles are challenging, but fun - sometimes we do them alone and compare answers , other times we have to work together. Would definitely recommend.

Like something made at home. Needed too many external things to do the exercises and difficult to understand even as an adult
