Holy Canoly do these work! I have irritable bowel syndrome constipation so sometimes I go two weeks for that going to the bathroom and that’s normal for me but obviously very toxic for other people. I am so amazed on how these work because quite frankly, I have tried glycerin, suppositories liquid and solid, I’ve tried bisacodyl suppositories and they’re subpar. Now THIS, got the job done in literally a minute for my sluggish gut. My only cautionary tale is that this does cause burning in the rectum, but I would rather feel a fiery butt, then not being able to go.

Taking a GL1-p makes the digestive tract slow down. Which results in me being backed up with hard stool that is difficult to pass. I strain a lot and it feels painful due to large size and very little movement. These little enemas help greatly. Highly recommended for those with this issues. The product has numbing agent which helps with the passing of the large stool. So I’m not crying on the pot and regretting my life choices. The numbing medication is a game changer. It’s important to lay on your left side and insert. Then wait as long as tolerable before going to the bathroom. I only usually have to wait 3 mins honestly. I only use these occasionally as I try it not to let myself get bound up. Usually miralax a couple times a week will keep me stay regular. But when I forget to stay on my regime and have these terrible large hard blockages, this medication is what works best for me. And I’m grateful there is something out there on the market.

Well all I can tell you is that these work, and they work fast! If you have trouble with dehydration or constipation, these will help you clear out!

I really don’t notice much when it comes to numbing or pain relief however, It Most often brings about BM within 5 to 15 minutes. Small tube(s) but adequate because only a very small amount needed… which means most people can get up and walk around vs when using a bottle type enema. Applicator is smooth but use a lubricant as directed anyway.

I bought this after surgery when I genuinely couldn’t go to the bathroom not the kind of detail anyone loves to share, but it’s the truth. I was honestly scared and doubtful about trying something like this, but it did work. It takes a little longer compared to other similar products, but eventually it gets the job done, and when you're desperate, that matters. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is the burning sensation. Even though it includes a bit of anesthetic and some lubrication, it still burns, and if you’ve been struggling for days, that whole area is already irritated. The product itself just makes that discomfort worse. It’s not pleasant at all. That said, in a real emergency, the burning becomes the least of your concerns. It works just be prepared for the sting.

I have IBS and use these as part of my "management' plan. Specifically, these work well for when you simply can't produce a bowel movement or have a feeling of incomplete evacuation, i.e. you feel as if you could go some more but can't. ****Important**** I want to provide some tips, that aren't included in the user instructions. First, purchase a medically safe/approved lubricant to use with these. Use the liquid inside the tube to lubricate the tip of the tube/shaft as directed. Then, use extra lubrication on both the tip and shaft of the tube and then on your body. Don't be squeamish here, just do it. Second, and this is critical: after the deployment of the liquid, lay down on your left side and wait for the stuff to work. If you stand up right or walk around, you may have less of a chance for the liquid to work. In my experience, the preparation needs to "mingle" with your stool, soften it up and also "stimulate" your gut to get things going (though this isn't a stimulant laxative, per se). Anywhere from 3-7 minutes seems to be good. Could be less, could be more. Be patient. And afterwards, for us IBS folks, a heating pad on your stomach while laying down is a nice touch. Almost like being at a spa... I hope the above helps. I wish I had known these things a little sooner. My success rate is about 90%.

If you are in a position to need such a product..its a great one to have. Easy to use Comfortable insertion Works quickly Comfortable way to ease constipation. Does not cause pain or severe stomach cramping. It does cost a touch more than i like to spend on such products..but its worth it.. because it actually works.
