Space saving gems!
The range of sizes is really good. The textile seems sturdy and robust enough to have lots of items inside. We bought 2 sets of these to use in our campervan for space saving efficiency. Not used yet but can tell they will pack nicely into little nooks and crannies and will save us having to take a suitcase. Lots of bags means you can pack efficiently and not have rummage around to find things. Will review further once they are used.

Great, I can see what I’ve packed a grab just what I need. Bit pricey though...
I wasn’t sure how well these would work but I’m really pleased to say that I love them. I roll/Marie Kondo most of my clothes anyway and my clothes can go straight in from my cupboard at home. I love that my clothes are stacked vertically as I can see what’s in there and grab what I need without having to get everything out. I wish they were less expensive

Nice use of recycled materials, but comes with a price
It can't escape your notice, if you've read Marie Kondo's book The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up, that there are similarities - two that I've noticed. Firstly, when you look at the way the product photos have been done, clothes are rolled up in the way that Marie Kondo talks about in her book. Secondly, the colour scheme - that particular shade of turquoise, combined with greys. Is this synchronicity or a deliberate move on trtl's part? What we have here are three packing bags, that are fairly much the same, just different sizes - small, medium, large. On the outside they are grey and black ripstop, created from recycled bottles. On the inside smooth, turquoise polyester.Tags at the mouth of each bag help you know the size of the bag - yellow for large, royal blue for medium, turquoise for small. Many designers presented with this challenge would make a rectangle, but not trtl - these bags are a kind of elongated triangle with a zip opening almost from top to bottom.Supplied is a single fairly narrow black strap running through a wide shoulder pad. This attaches at top and bottom of whichever bag you decide to attach it to. It took me a fair while to figure out how the metal clip on the bag attaches to what seems like a dangling piece of strap - I finally realised there is a loop sewn into the end of the strap, and the metal clip threads into it. This is not what I'd describe as a failsafe strap attachment - I reckon every once in a while it will fall off and you'll find you've dropped your bag - that is, unless my understanding of how the strap works is wrong, or you can figure out a more permanent way of attaching the strap to the bag if this is important to you. Each bag has a sturdy loop and metal clip, both of which can be used to hang the bags from whatever it is you want to hang them from, or from each other if you feel that helps.I've recently been watching a bunch of urban preparedness videos with people describing their Every Day Carryn (EDC) bags, and the things they like to carry in them - categorized so they can be located easily. This trtl packing pod system would be a good foundation for such an EDC system.Aside from the clip system on the strap that I am a little bit concerned about if 100% certainty is important, my only other real concern is the price of this collection of three bags. It's not a completely unreasonable price, fifty quid, and it's nice that they're made from recycled products and are therefore not so damaging in their environmental impact, but if you're after packing bags you'll find products that do a very similar job, maybe without the ultimate versatility of these trtl bags, for about a third the cost.

Good product but i have mixed feelings
I will start off by saying that Trtl is a great brand and these are a great quality set of packing pods with a unique design. There are some neat and nifty features in that they are space saving, you can link them up, hang them, leave them open to dispense the contents. There is a locking loop on the zips and a detachable strap so they can double up as a travel bag. Very versatile. I think these are more useful when space is limited like in a caravan or camping in a tent.I find the irregular shape of these pods strange. The idea is to roll your clothing items for more efficient packing and less creasing. I found the creasing about the same so that didn’t improve anything. Once packed up they are bulky and awkward to pack neatly into my suitcase.I like that they are strong but lightweight, made of recyclable materials and a lot of thought has gone into the design but personally i feel they are over-engineered and a bit unnecessary. They are very expensive for what they are as well and i would prefer a more regular shaped and modular set of packing cubes to use for travelling instead.

PERFECT for camping
If your a camper you'll know the pain of keeping dirty laundry stored away where it wont go bad when camping without access to a washer. this bags are great for hanging up in the tent and keeping coaching out of the way,I LOVE that you can turn these into a little day bag as well with the strap thats included with this. It also makes organising your laundry and packing it away for travelling ALLOT easier. the three sizes work really well and the all 3 bags can be stored in a suitcase or back pack. I just really like that you can store stuff in these and can hang them up. I have a 5 meter bell tent so I have plenty of head room and being able to tie these inside the tent high up off the ground is a big advantage.I would definitely use these to store containers with sugars and Jam's in as well to keep ants away. pop inside a plastic bag and into one of these and you dont need to worry about creepy crawlers going for your food and running around in your tent.

Amazing what you can do with a plastic bottle.
It's amazing how things can be made from plastic bottles, these are soft and good quality and do not resemble plastic in any way, shape or form. You get three bags of varying size, they can connect together if that is what you want to do or you can use them separately. My daughter used the biggest one as a bag to take to a sleepover and it was perfect for that, and it was impressive that it somehow fitted far more stuff than you would expect. They are versatile and they do seem to be a really good quality that will last a long time but you are paying for the eco-friendly aspect to these packing pods.
