DIY crown repair made easy
This is the best crown repair I've used. For a DIY I really didn't want to chip out and redo the mortar on my crown. So I simply chipped the loose stuff and brushed this on. It goes on pretty thick like brushing on mortar but you have so much better control. Mortar would spread thin or pool off the edge. The elastic nature of this is like chewing gum and it does a great job staying where you brush it. It has stopped our crown leaking. I gave 3 stars for durability simply because I do not know yet so this could become 5 stars as well

It works
I had a leaky chimney and I was fairly certain it was from 2 cracks about 1/8” wide. I purchased this and I am very happy with it. I have a large chimney—9’ x2’6”, and it took me about 1.5 hours to complete. It goes on easily, it filled the cracks, and the second coat had a nice finish to it. It looks like a brand new chimney crown.

Excellent coverage and adhesion
Heavy - Duty coating, tough to brush - on so use a stiff brush. Excellent coverage and adhesion.The climb up to the chimney and prep was more difficult than the actual application.
