NOT made in Europe, as indicated by picture
Back of package states "Made in P:R.C." No, that's not a typo of the colon. It's simply printed as such. I feel mislead, especially since it was shipped from Germany. Had I known, I wouldn't have bought it.

USELESS: Do not purchase
The tool was missing a main part, which makes it useless. The part is pictured here and on the package, but was not in the package. Return costs are too expensive, so we lost out on this purchase.

Good, works, but will end up buying dowelmaster.
This review is conflixting but will hopefully help. This gets the job done. I needed something immediately and the wolfcraft one wasn't available. I've owned the latter before so this is a comparison.KWB needs centres measuring as there is no auto find for the middle widths. Adding to this, I find reading the measurements on the sides of the jig difficult. They are raised using the same plastic, do same colour, obviously from the mould. I've 20/20 vision. The measurements are accurate however. Once understood, the alignment attachment works, however I ended up just using the width of the jig as my measure, to guarantee alignment.None of these are real gripes, it does the job as mentioned. Can be clamped, but not easily, and is more accurate clamped. If it had the auto find for the centre of workpieces it'd be great. Without it it's just good. Which is much better than nothing. My project is done, and with much less effort than without it. However, I'll probably end up buying the wolfcraft dowelmaster for future projects.I don't regret buying this. I was in a pinch.

This is fine...but....
This works a treat, no problems, delivered on time.BUT, it comes without the depth gauges - and you could live without them, but it seems like they really ought to be included.THEN, listen to this bit...I bought the depth gauges from same manufacturer/company and they delivered promptly again, but without the allen key needed to tighten them, despite the fact it shows an allen key in the photos fro the gauges. So - if you buy this, factor in another £4.45 for gauge, then make sure you have some tiny allen keys to hand or buy some of those too.

Nearly great
Fantastic gadget for keeping drills straight and square. Just three things to watch out for:First, it can be a bit wobbly on narrow surfaces (eg a strip of wood).Second, it's awkward if you want to use a masonry drill - you have to feed the drill through in reverse as the tip of a (say) 6mm masonry drill won't fit through a 6mm hole.Third, it restricts the depth of the holes you drill - this is particularly bothersome with narrower drills. For example a standard 3mm HSS bit barely sticks out of the bottom of the guide when the bit is seated firmly in the drill chuck.Nonetheless I'd recommend it for accuracy and ease of use.

Simple and effective
Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Makes perfectly perpendicular drilling very easy.At first I was suspicious that such simple tool wouldn't perform as I wanted. Then I realised I was wrong.I used this to fix new wooden steps to house stairs in replacement of carpet.Using a Japanese screwless and nailess method I used dowels to do the job.None of the techniques indication in the manual was adequate for my particular case but getting around the best way wasn't difficult. An instance I managed to drill a second hole half diameter away from first one with no problem, once you manage to secure the tool in position it will let you do what you need.Easy to setup the distance to centre of the hole.Very easy to set the diameter of dowel you need.

A good drill guide
I use this as a drill guide to ensure I am going in perpendicularly to the wood. The numerous hole sizes makes it very useful.I also use it to assembly panels with dowels. It is good and it works, but there is no self-centring facility which is common on most dowelling jigs. There is a manufacturers YouTube video that demonstrates its use well.
