There’s a large selection of light boxes online. It was really hard trying to find something simple, light, durable and not run on a battery. This fits all the needs of what I want it to do. The light makes it easy to see images and words to replicate artwork. This light pad is thin and can be stored anywhere. No small parts to break off. Very nice clip, no stand. The charging cord is nice and long. It’s so simple and uncomplicated to use. It is very functional with just one button that feels like it’s part of the pad. I highly recommend this. #$&!% Edit: After almost 6 months of having this, I’ve experienced no issues with this light pad and use it frequently like a normal clipboard. I’ve drawn many pictures on it already and not a single scratch. Nothing has gone wrong with the backlight. I’ve not dropped it at all and won’t intend to do so. #$&!%

I am using this to trace patterns on thick watercolor paper. I am impressed that it works on this paper. The brightness is easy to adjust and it is very thin and light to handle and store. I would highly recommend this lightbox.

After ordering a light pad before, and not getting the right one, I decided to try a different brand. This one is exactly what I was looking for. I like being able to dim down the brightness of the light so it's not so bright and blinding. I like this item a lot. It's thin and light weight and I like the idea of the power cord instead of USB ports.

This is a really good light box. I bought this to replace another less bright one. It is lightweight and very bright. I am able to trace items on some of the heaviest watercolor paper I have.

This light box is easy to use and store when not in use. From other reviews I decided to go with a light box that had an extended plus on the unit as many reviews said that plugs that went directly into the box often come loose and unplugged. However, I notice that the cord connected to the box has a small kink in it which over time might break if I'm not careful with how I store the box. Otherwise, the box is great for my needs.

This is my first light table. I love how compact it is and light weight. The rubber feet keep it in place. Three levels of light and it’s bright enough to see through several layers. I’m curious how long the light lasts though. There is no way to replace any bulb. It’s really an awesome product. No regrets.

I was impressed with this light box. It's our first, but I compared a lot before opting for this one. It was well packed and arrived intact. Upon unwrapping the protective papers, there is an additional peel-away protector on the screen, so it arrived with no scratches. I agree with others that the paper provided is not tracing paper, but the light is so bright, it doesn't matter. There are 3 modes of light. The first is bright, the second is super bright, and the third is unbelievably bright. Level 1 provides enough light to see clearly through regular printer paper. The others allow for seeing through thicker papers. There are only 2 downsides, both related to the clip - 1. The supplied clip lifts the entire unit from the table, which would either snap the clip or the board. 2. The clip doesn't have any padding, so I was careful to not scratch the surface with it. This is not a deal breaker. I would suggest using a different clip if you plan to use this on a table. I saw on cheaper models that you could see black around the individual LED lights. This one is completely white and impossible to see the bulbs. It's also pretty durable. I let my two elementary aged children use it with no concerns on breaking it. The plug supplied works well and the cord is very long. The unit itself is thin enough to slide into most books to trace from it without breaking the binding. In all, I'm very happy with this purchase.
