Sharp, aggressive
Installing a new 3/4" gasoline, I needed to bore through three 6x8 old wood beams. My old bits, admittedly having gone through plenty of prior use, weren't cutting it. These bits tore into the wood with a very clean cut. My 12V drills aren't strong enough to drive these bits for that project as the tips want to pull the bite in more than the small drills can sustain, but my medium duty corded drill runs them fairly easily. I did use a long, skinny bit to drill in from the backside and keep the holes completely clean; an extension also would have worked.Good value for the set. Be careful that you don't jam them up if the screw tips really get a good bite; I cleared my holes regularly. Good value down the set. They work perfectly; completely satisfied!
