Men's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe

I’m still wearing a black pair of Addiction Walkers that I bought in 2015. I’ll submit the pics. I just purchased a white pair 10 years later. There are differences in design and function, yet the new pair is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever had in all my life. That being said the old pair was ALL LEATHER. The new pair is not, yet, the shoe is lighter and the leather is softer and more comfortable. The Addiction Walker is maybe the highest quality, most durable shoe on the market. I’m basing my opinion on the 10 year old pair I still wear. Like I said the old style was all leather this new shoe has a synthetic piece mid foot sewed into the leather. This new shoe is much more comfortable out of the box. Softer leather, lighter sole, easier to walk in. The old shoe was hot on long walks and it was very heavy. If you walk long in the sun definitely get white. The newer shoe is lighter and a pleasure to walk in. I had to go up a half size in the new shoe. The toe box is not as wide and the mid-foot sole has been narrowed to my disappointment. You will see on the pics. This shoe is the only shoe on the market made for extremely flat 4EE or XW or XXW feet. I’m wide in the mid foot and the old Addiction didn’t narrow mid-foot and it was the only shoe made that did not. Brooks should change back to the wide mid foot. It offers enhanced stability and prevents entirely vertically feet from hanging over the inner sole. That being said this shoe is the pinnacle of stability. Even this new shoe that has a smaller toe bed and more narrow mid foot is able to plant my 225 lb 4E foot securely. I did have to go to my most aggressive orthotic to make up for the new more narrow mid foot sole. The new shoe in white is an eye pleasing masterpiece. I’m 52 and the kids wearing $200 Jordan’s are staring at them. Total upgrade in looks even with the non leather section. The old shoe’s major fault was that it was dangerous on wet flooring or snow. The new shoe has an updated sole that’s lighter, more flexible, but probably won’t last 10 years. The new shoe has a roll battle shape to it makes walking effortless. The 10 year olds were old school but great. Not suitable for most people who would say they were hot and stiff…partly true. I’ll be able to walk 10 miles in the new style. I bought two pair of SAS (San Antonio Shoe Maker) Journey II White leather shoes at $235 a pair and to my surprise the Addiction Walkers beat them in style, comfort, I’m sure durability, and support. Originally I thought these shoes were the best shoes for wide feet but honestly I truly believe they’re the best walker, general wear, training shoe there is. Look at my pictures as proof. The black pair is 10 years old. Years ago the tip of the sole became separated and I glued it back on. That was my only issue. I do take good care of my shoes by the way. I would use Coach leather moisturizer to clean them every few months (maybe that’s why lol.)

I’ve been wearing these shoes for a little over a year now and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They are absolutely phenomenal with plantar fasciitis and severe pronation toward the inside of your feet. They have a bar support inside them so it keeps arch in the natural position it’s supposed to be in countering the pronation which prevents the plantar fasciitis symptoms. tried at least 50 pairs of shoes before these because I stand for 12 hours a day in retail and no matter what my plantar fasciitis symptoms and knees would hurt really bad. I would find after just a few weeks most shoes would bow inward toward the inside of my arch. These shoes have not done that in over a year and they feel like they’re out of the box. I even brought them to my podiatrist and orthopedic surgeon and they said this is a very well-made shoe very sturdy. Probably the best you can get so if you have any of the issues I listed above, I would recommend this shoe it takes away almost all the pain completely.

I have been wearing Brooks adrenaline GTS running shoes for quite some time now, but I only use them for walking. So I decided to try Addiction Walker 2 to see if would be a better choice for me. The Walker fits nice and is quite comfortable. As of yet I haven’t had a chance to wear them much so I can’t speak to how well they will work for me.

Really comfortable and you custom size them

I've worn many supportive running shoes over the years, including Brooks Beast. The problem with most running shoes today is the tops wear out. It's not unusual to find a hole in the fabric where my big toe is. These shoes support just as well as Brooks Beast, but the tops are made of a leather like material instead of fabric. Not only that, but you can apply black shoe polish to keep them shiny and new looking for dressy occasions. But the best part is total foot support. Total comfort from the very moment I put them on. NO BREAK-IN PERIOD! It would be nice if Brooks made these with genuine leather. I would have purchased a pair in white, but Amazon did not have them in stock in my size. One of the reviewers complained of the sole rubber separating at the toe junction. Not even these shoes will last forever. However, a bit of hot adhesive from a hot glue gun can perform magical fixes ;-)

Without a doubt my favorite shoe for work. I’m a HVAC tech and blow through cloth shoes. Might get 4 months out of a pair if I’m lucky. Not these though. These shoes last me over a year wearing them all week Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. They are so water resistant that they are almost waterproof. They get wet constantly from me cleaning equipment and that’s including using chemicals to clean the coils with and stay in perfect condition and my feet stay dry. I will continue to buy these on an annual basis as long as they are available and at this point wouldn’t consider anything else. I’ve been using them for years. They are also very comfortable and very supportive. Your foot locks into the shoe keeping your heel from slipping. You cant kick these shoes off, they have to be unlaced. Without a doubt my favorite shoe.

Used daily 3 months. Size 8.5 USA, Wide.Took me 2 months to feel comfortable. Stable, several pressure points, not suffocating my feet, need good quality socks, expensive for quality that I experienced. Another brand name with same or better durability proved to be more comfortable at 35% less than what I paid. Will not buy again.

Bought this for husband and he loves it. He can be in these shoes all day for walking.

Son medianamente comodas porque no tienen mucha amortiguacion casi nada. Si trabajas en cocina y hay algo de Grasa, agua o aceite resbala un poco( no tanto pero si resbala). Lo unicorn bueno es el material de Cuero que hace facial la limpieza. Yo que tengo fascitis plantar no me es muy recommendable
