Pleasantly surprised by ECE 22.06 rating! | Great for E-bikes
The description only says this helmet is DOT rated, not ECE 22.06. So I was quite surprised when it came with an ECE sticker on the back! The helmet itself is pretty good. I'm using it for e-biking, not motorcycling. I found that even at low speeds biking uphill, this was ventilated enough for me not to overheat in 80 degree weather. Closing the vents will probably make it nice and warm in the winter, too. Very light (3lb I think? Medium size) so it didn't feel awkward at low speed. The tinted visor is dark enough to block the sun, and the sun visor is an nice touch. At 35mph, I feel protected enough by the chin guard (which "does not protect chin from impacts") but I wouldn't want to use this at higher speeds on a motorcycle. The helmet also has speaker slots, which will be nice. My biggest issue is how tight it is putting it on. I'm getting better at it, so maybe it's just me, but it's tighter than another full face helmet I tried. Overall, great value for $90. Especially with ECE 22.06! Also, if you don't like the style, look at the ILM Z302, which has more color options and looks better (in my opinion).

Most likely, You'll want to order a size bigger than what you think you'll need.
Tight fit, but comfortable. Fits snug, like it should. I took the advice of other reviewers' posts & got one a size bigger. I'm really liking the design & I can still hear clearly when using my Ebike. Arrived a day early. Good price for the quality. Oh, and there are air vents you can open & close built into the helmet. The internal padding is plush and warm. Visibility is great!

Stylish and Strong
Amazing helmet ! I usually wear S size so i went for it... it turned out to be a tad to tight but i guess it will stretch overtime. I live in the caribbean and this helmet is very well vented and the alcantara like removable liner is very comfy and easy to remove for cleaning. Overall a great helmet but sizing-up seems to be necessary if you prefer a loose fit.

Futuristic look, very comfortable, and great versatility
This ILM helmet looks amazing in matte black, modern, sleek, and with a futuristic design that definitely turns heads. It fits great once it’s on, and the interior padding makes it very comfortable to wear. One of the things I like most is the versatility: you can remove the front mouthpiece and also the visor, depending on how you want to use it. That makes it work for different conditions and styles. A small but important tip: order one size up. I first bought a Medium, but it was hard to put on and take off and felt too tight. I exchanged it for a Large and it fits much better. Just keep in mind that the front piece is not meant for real jaw protection, it’s mainly aesthetic and aerodynamic. I use it for a scooter, and for that purpose it’s perfect. Overall, a great helmet with a fantastic look. I definitely recommend it.

Light, comfortable, cool, and lens options.
Great helmet for the price. Comfortable, easy to clean and light. It's got a great look to it. I don't feel like a total bobble head. Take the visor off for highway speed riding. Ventilation is adequate too!! Loooooots of compliments wherever I go. I'd recommend for sure and it's a great company as well with extra parts if needed. I ordered a clear visor for night riding and it fits perfect and installs in a min no tools needed. Also bought my son a youth helmet from ILM and again allll the same great fit and features especially being light for a youth helmet. Good job ILM 👍🏻

Quality!
Very nice and comfortable! Lining is soft and thick. Visor isn't too dark...I ride at night with the visor down and can still see enough light while going slow(about 10mph), but too dark to go fast at night.

It’s a really nice helmet for the price
I actually bought this for snowboarding, cause 40% of snowboarding is looking cool. Fake it till you make it. I’m obviously too broke for a RuRoc or Scorpion helmet. Not really, I just don’t go enough to justify the cost. But this helmet looked great online so I have it a shot and I wasn’t disappointed. The inside is actually fleece lined so it’s really comfortable, and there’s adjustable vents on the top and in the face piece. The chin strap is an easy pull release, very similar to that of a snowboard binding. So theres no F’ing around with trying to loop the strap through two D rings in a specific way. It just clicks right in, and you pull to release. The visor folds down really easily, though I wish it also came with the clear visor cause I may wanna just use my sunglasses underneath since they’re polarized. But that brings me into why it only got 4 stars. There’s no real room for glasses with this helmet. I squeezed my regular glasses on after putting the helmet on, but they’re a very thing and flexible frame. I wouldn’t think sunglasses which typically have a thicker frame would fit very comfortably. A lot of helmets I’ve had in the past have a split in the cushion going back to the ears specifically so then glasses can fit comfortably, but these do not. Another minor issue is that it fits pretty tight. A large usually fits me perfectly but this helmet feels a tad small. Not overly small, in fact it may just be that I’m not used to such a shallow face guard (as opposed to like a dirt bike helmet that sticks out a few more inches) I can almost lick the inside of this face guard. But I’ll get used to it. And maybe that’s how I’ll open and close the front vent LOL All in all a very nice helmet at a great price. Will definitely recommend to my friends Edit: I dropped a star cause it fogs up really easily, especially if you use it for snowboarding, which is probably not it’s recommended use, but there it is

This helmet is awesome. Not only do I look like a Spartan (see Halo), but it's so damn soft on the inside, it practilically doubles as a pillow. Legit the softest inner lining I've ever felt on a helmet. It makes it such a joy to wear. As others have said, you will need one size up. Two sizes up is probably excessive and a bit overboard though. If you're a L, the XL should fit you perfectly. This is largely due to the silky soft lining. I'm typically a M, but I read that I should go up two sizes. So I bought a L, because I didn't want my helmet to be larger than my body. L fit so well that I wanted to correct that bit of advice. Don't go 2 sizes up. Whoever wrote that is probably a standard XL, and was upset that it didn't fit. Take their salt with a grain of... salt... Best helmet ever. It's super comfy, has very good ventilation, and for heaven's sake it looks like a Spartan helmet... which is awesome because I have a vinyl on my dirtbike that reads "My other ride is a Warthog 😂 (If you don't understand the Halo references, we can't be friends

I'm very confused as to why everyone here says that the helmet runs too small and to size up. I'm a 6 foot 250 lbs guy with a head circumference of 63cm-64cm. I looked EVERYWHERE for a size 2XL because there's only XL in stock. After Not having any luck, I decided to pull the plug and get a size XL, and it perfectly even though it says its for 61cm-62cm, and everyone saying to size up. It's protective gear, it's supposed to fit nice and snug! I supposed it depends on your face shape - I have a pretty oval shaped face rather than round/square. I almost felt like I should've ordered a large (but probably not) I was worried that the velvet lining would hold sweat and stick quicker than the usual mesh material in helmets, but it looked SO comfy I wanted to try it out - and man they've worked some magic with this thing! Doesn't retain sweat at all, and I live in DUBAI. The visor does fog up a bit when being still, but never fogs up while riding. You can see clearly even in the night. There's not a lot of helmet noise, BUT I only ride an electric scooter at 32kmph. I haven't tested any of this on a proper bike. The helmet has speaker cut outs, though I haven't tried speakers on them yet. Overall, I'm super happy with this helmet. Wearing this helmet to ride an electric scooter might seem overkill, but there is no overkill with protection! AND it looks sooo sick :)
