Needs work to use.
Like many others have stated, the piston was stuck in the bore. I removed the rear cover and carefully pushed on the rod until the piston came out. Coated it and the bore with brake fluid and reinstalled. Worked fine.

Inexpensive, may or may not work.
Loved the robust construction and how everything fit. If the finish was better and had it actually worked, it would be perfect. In my unit, the piston was stuck.

Leaked
Was a teal color instead of the blue pictured. Leaked (gushed) out of the small shaft seal and was not usable.

cap on slave cylinder is loose
the cap on the slave cylinder was loose, it needed to be loctited. I ended up using red loctite the hold it, I had another slave clyinder(different brand) come loose on me and fall off, almost leaving me stranded on the trail. Also, the threaded rod, should have a nut and lock washer type to keep it from coming loose(I red loctited mine). Didn't final install it yet, getting line to the magura master cylinder in a day or so.

1 of 2 was missing a bit of things.
I am missing a fastening nut, and there is a solid bolt where the banjo bolt and washers should be. 1 of 2 items were fine the other is not. Very unhappy. And to top it off the package seal was broken.

Take the cap off and push the cylinder in before installing.
it doesn't leak, you have to push the cylinder in so it isn't stuck at the end. Very good product after breaking it in, it feels just like a normal but slightly softer clutch
