I have another Arca Swiss rail for which I have 3-d printed a bunch of brackets. I was looking for a rail slightly longer than the one I already have. This rail is 2mm wider than the other Arca rail I already have and as such none of my current brackets fit. It is unfortunate that sellers do not show the critical dimensions of the products they sell.

This could be a good solution for Gitzo 5 series ball head users. I have a large gitzo quick release place but a l bracket with Arca Swiss rail. I also want a slide to be an adapter between the two and a slide for Nodal point for Pano photos. This seems serve all the purposes.

Allen bolt holding the two halves of the clamps together is deformed, not allowing the included wrench to even fit in it for the adjustment of the clamp angles, which is the main feature I bought this for. Otherwise it looks to be a nice product.

Rail, clamp, & plate look to be very good. Works quite well on my tripod. Shipped from China - shipping packaging was excellent.

Dalle foto esposte sul sito Amazon hai una idea, pero non ho capito come devi fare per allineare le linee di riferimento col piano del sensore - e questo e nella mia mente il secondo difetto. Semmai e facile spostare la piastra sulla quale e fissata la fotocamera - e quindi puo verificare la messa a fuoco chi ha questa possibilita inherente nella la camera - per fare un lavoro di precisione, faccio fatica.

He recibido este rail y hago esta reseña por si a alguien le es útil.La gran ventaja que le veo con respecto a otros, es que, a la hora de hacer panorámicas, al poder desplazar la zapata donde se ancla la cámara por todo el rail (en otros es fija), se puede adaptar a casi todos los objetivos, ya que si tenemos este rail con las dimensiones que tiene, si no se pudiese desplazar la zapata y usamos lentes ultra gran angular, la longitud del rail haría inviable su uso ya que el extremo delantero del rail aparecería en la foto. Pero desplazando la zapata hacia adelante lo necesario, evitas ese problema De esta manera te evitas llevar dos railes de medidas diferentes, para objetivos angulares y para objetivos zoom.

This koolehaoda 240mm nodal rail with quick release clamp is fantastic. Well made and low priced. Everything is solid. Being able to slide your camera along the rail makes finding the nodal point very easy. This rail is great for doing single-row panoramas.
