This hair wax has helped me during my awkward hair growth process.. I wanted to try a different shade of color and before I committed to it I tried the color wax. It looked really nice and folks noticed I had changed something but couldn't put their finger on it! It brightens my faded color and helps me stretch out the time between root touchups. It is thick need gummy, but when it dries it is better than gel to keep my hair in place! No frizz, it definitely controls those because it coats my hair coils. The shimmer makes it look like highlights. It may not be for everyone but it works for me and makes my curly hair styles more versatile!

Great product for a quick color change. It was easy to apply. Various techniques, applying to wet hair vs dry, cause different results. I've used it on both. I've also used it as a sealant after moisturizing my hair. I had no flaking as long as I kept my hair in a twist or there was no manipulation. Once I did a twist out, a mess. But remember this is a temporary color so expectations should not be set too high. It did what it was supposed to do. After a week of flaking I had to wash it all out. There was a transfer of color on clothes, skin, furniture. I even left a trail on my floors which thankfully can easily be wiped up. So if you want a cute quick style change and pop of color, go for it. Just know what to expect and don't expect permanent dye results with a wax. Oh and I have 4c hair. This realllly helped define my curls. It was worth the flakage LOL

Pro: I already dye my hair honey blonde, but the bombshell color made it look like I dyed my hair TODAY! It gave me a really nice "natural" look. The price is great, it hasnt harmed my hair in anyway, and it washes out so easily! Also it does wonders for my curls! I already bought 5 other colors this product is so amazing! Dislike: I have a sensitive nose, my suggestion is to not put this product in your hair until its damp, but close to dry. I made the mistake of putting this in my hair when it was wet and fully moisturized. I had a headache for almost 3 days. Also if you put it in your hair while its wet, it acts kind of like a gel so my hair was crunchy.

Love it. If you do not have curly hair, this is not for you. Seriously. First time, I had my hair straightened and let me warn yoy, straight hair girlies, find another product. Defines the curls, color is pretty. Love that it stays on yet washes right off. Gonna try and play with other colors.

To be honest, this wax is the reason I don’t bleach my hair. I am able to wear this for around a week (with occasional reapplication,) and pass it off as if I got highlights. The wax also gives the appearance that my hair is longer AND gives major definition/ hold! I love this product so much that I’ve probably gone through around 10 containers so far! Would definitely recommend for curly-heads only as this product might not be suitable for straight hair. The only downside is that this product does rub off on clothing and basically any surface that touches your hair but it washes off very easily.

I wanted to love this.. but it had an unusual smell & was drying to my hair. Not a good purchase.

I recently decided to stop bleaching my hair because I noticed those single highlight strips definitely had an altered curl pattern compared to the rest of my hair. I was looking for a way to get those highlights back without the damage and this is it! This picture doesn’t do it justice, but I only use the gold minimally. I like to take like 8 damp curls and run a strip of gold down them from root to tip. Then I take some of the color into my palm, add a little water, rub that into my palms, and scrunch the ends of my hair for more of an ombré look! It’s very subtle and I find that when I add some water it doesn’t look/feel so waxy. I love it! Edit: I also bought pink and I love it! It takes a lot more to change my hair color than the gold does and I used a LOT of it because I have a lot of hair, but it’s worth it every once in a while for sure! Having to use so much it did get waxy and crunchy but worth the color.

Very easy to use on my natural dark brown hair twists: apply to damp hair which has been WELL moisturised with hair cream. After applying the wax then seal with a hair oil or gel. Air dry. The result: natural looking golden highlights and well defined revived hair twists and most importantly no hair damage or flakes! Lasts for approximately 4 or 5 days and easily washes out when washing my hair. Well worth the purchase if you are looking for a change in hair colour but don’t want to use permanent dyes on your hair.

A bit gold for me but I was impressed by the colour and coverage. Just a small amount totally transformed my hair colour. I have 3c hair and it coated and set like a curl cream on dry hair. Would have given 5 stars but the colour was more gold and I was expecting more blonde
