Pup-Peroni Lean Beef Flavor Dog Snacks, 25-Ounce Bag

These things are delicious! ....I mean... my dog thinks they're delicious! It really is kind of weird to review something you will never try (I hope!) Although I would honestly be VERY surprised to learn that not one single person out there in the history of these being sold has ever tried one. Let me clarify... I have not tried them and don't have any inclination to... but that being said, I'd be lying if I didn't at least admit that they smell kind of good! It really is weird to say that about a dog treat. In reality though theres probably more meat and nutrition in here than a slim jim, so is it that weird? Maybe... either way, my dog loves them!

I bought the original PupPeroni and my puppy loved them. I had also bought specific "training treats", seemed like we went through a $10, 16 or so ounce bag within 2 weeks-he liked them too, but they seemed to be the same kind of treat, just cut in small pieces. I was excited when I saw the 25 ounce for $10, it saves money, and I feel a little better giving so many treats a day since they are "lean". I usually carry one or two sticks around per day and tear off a tiny piece each time I reward him for following commands or going "potty" outside. Puppy will do anything for a PupPeroni. I tried to cut them up and bag in advance, but they crumbled and dried out faster.

My Boxer pups love these and glad that the Lean is available on Amazon. The fact that the bag seals completely is a real bonus as the 'sticks' will dry up if the bag is left open. These are a special treat for my pups and they will sit and stay for these. Must taste really good to both as they are always sniffing around for them. Delivered to my door and doesn't get any better than that for me as I live 40 minutes from a store. Most highly recommended. Five woofs from the pups.

yip yip yip... my humans are out so i am taking this chance to let you know these pup-peronis are the best. i do all kinds of weird stuff and they give me these great treats. and dog i love these snacks. i think. i usually swallow them so fast i dont really taste them so im not sure but i can always smell it when one of my humans opens the bag so i know it is time to sit, lay down, stand on my hind legs or chase my favorite toy so i do it and turn my best dog eyes on them for more pup-peronis. dog take it from me youre gonna love pup-peronis.

This is a great deal for the amount of treats you get. The bag was sealed when I got it but the treats were a little hard. My dog loves these and they’re great when you break them into pieces for training or to play with your dog. I will be ordering these again.

If you buy them at the right moment otherwise they are the same as Walmart. My three Chihuahuas love them. I read the Red Dye #3 (or whichever) isn’t so great for dogs, so I break up in 1” pieces and they get two or three per day. Did I say how much my dogs love these?? So they have to be somewhat junky. Right? But other brands don’t get eaten so I buy these when amazon has them super cheap. Arrive fresh and fast. Large bag, different flavors.

My dog loves these, he seems to find them very tasty. This particular size is also great because it lasts us a long time if given one a day, good size and good deal for the price. Beware your dog might just be a bit gassy (not a problem) I just noticed this with my small Maltese and thought it was worth mentioning.

My dogs LOVE these treats! I may think they’re smelly, but that’s so important when you need to catch and hold a dog’s attention - in situations with leash reactivity or fear triggers. It’s helped me to train my staffy mix to conquer many fears and become quite the gentleman in public. The treats were very fresh and soft, so I was able to break them into small pieces for training. Plus, it comes in a large amount and lasts us a few weeks. Atlas and Lila recognize the bag by now and are always so excited to get snacking.
