Ready America 33111 Museum Gel, Clear

After some trial and error, this is great! I use it to hold small crystals on a small trinket shelf. You DONT NEED MUCH, as over time it will further disperse under your object into a very thin but stable layer. Easy to just take a small tiny blob and squish under my crystals, and after time it will spread itself out further. I wouldn't use on any crystals or items that aren't polished/smooth, or on a porous surface. My shelf is 3d printed, and on the smooth parts it removes easily but on the less smooth bits it does get stuck in the grooves somewhat. I only use it for polished crystals that are smooth, as it's super easy to remove from smooth items and leaves no residue. It will not hold something attached to a vertical shelf, as it works with gravity, and only works if it is underneath an object. A great aid for display, long lasting and infinitely reusable. This big jar will last me forever!

This is great for holding vases, small statuary and other things you don't want knocked off easily in place. It is clear so you don't see it, just don't use a large amount as you don't need to this stuff spreads out very thin, but holds very well. It has saved my vases from my cats. This jar will last you a long time unless you move things around a lot.

Highly recommend this product it really works. And great when you have cats that like to climb on everything and knock stuff down. And does not damage the surface.

This stuff is absolutely amazing. It works soo well. My house is full of fun decor, but also a baby. This keeps all of my stuff planted in place and prying hands from throwing things. My only issues are that it does spread and melt a bit on hot days when my house gets around 72 degrees, and that my container came busted.

So great to keep small trinkets in place, easy to apply and remove. Will stay in place unless you want it gone. It even keeps my smiski stuck on my dash! Reusable too! Note that it won’t work to attach things to walls or anything of the sort, but it doesn’t claim to do that either.

I bought this thinking it would work like the putty. The gel works fine but seems to flatten out and kinda run a bit, so things shift a bit. So you can see it under the items, like a water puddle. So hard to explain. I'm new to this stuff so maybe buyer error??? It's highly recommended for trailers to place things for trail day, but they use the putty. I liked the clear look better but I will give it a few more tries and see if I just need to get the putty instead. Durability I would rate 6/10 just because it moves as it settles. Value for money is fair. Color is the reason I purchased it, so love that it is clear. Ease of removal is good, just twisting it seems to be the trick.

I bought this primarily to keep drawer organizers from sliding around. For that, this works fine, and probably deserves about 3 - 4 stars. It spreads/puddles out over time beyond the borders of where you place it. This is foreshadowing. I made a scrapbook of 20 years of cherished concert memorabilia- ticket stubs, programs, autographed CD covers. I was terrified of damaging them with tape, so I tried little dots of this gel at the corners to keep them in place in my book. It worked, but when I went back to it later, I was horrified to realize that this left greasy oil stains all over them. Beyond where I even put it, because it puddled. The stains are likely permanent. Please learn from my mistake and don’t use this on anything you care about, ESPECIALLY paper. This gel has the consistency of putty, isn’t sticky, and I hadn’t noticed any staining on the furniture where I used it, so I thought it would be okay. It may not be the end of the world, but I’m gutted about it. I kept my mementos in great condition for 20+ years until I decided to try mounting them nicely with this gel. Knocking my rating down to one star for irreparably damaging irreplaceable mementos, and in hopes that people are more likely to see this warning when checking reviews.

I’m a SF Bay Area girl. This is a staple. We call it earthquake stickum. Nothing budges until you want it too. A little twist and you can move where you want it.

Lo hemos comprado porque tenemos gatos y bastantes figuritas y jarrones por toda la casa, así que al buscar una opción para prevenir accidentes, nos ha aparecido esta masilla. Es un gel transparente, no es pegajoso a la hora de manipularlo, y basta una cantidad pequeña para fijar objetos bastante pesados. Lo hemos usado con algunos floreros y decoraciones, y nos ha sorprendido su eficacia. Puede parecer caro, pero merece muchísimo la pena por lo práctico y util que es y la cantidad pequeña que se necesita incluso para objetos grandes.
