Zmodo Weatherproof & Vandal-proof Infrared CCTV Security Camera w/ 80' IR Review: Zmodo CM-S22203BK Vandal Proof Camera - Got 4 of these for thirty something each locally. Pros: 1. Got them for less than here. 2. Metal Housing 3. Compact 4. Has 4 slots around the base to pull the wires through in case you don't make a hole through a wall. 5. The cameras change from day to night instantly so you don't see much of a difference other than going from color to black and white. Cons: 1. The base threads are very hard to turn. I later found out I had to clean them all around with some tissue to get rid of the crud. Now they work okay but still not that easy. 2. There is no security set screw, but once tight they stay in place as well. Not a big deal but just thought I note that here. 3. Image is viewable and reasonable in light and dark. But not the sharpest. I tried a pre-made cable and now some cat baluns and they both have similar image. Plugging the camera straight to the tv worked a little better. But it seems to be the camera itself. You can tell who the person is though but I think they may need to be closer to the camera. 4. The camera only has 24 night LED's. Will update more later if I ever get them installed. I'm keeping two and two are going to another family member. Oh, you can find the camera power supply with splitters on ebay for really cheap. This is something you will need and it's small if you only have a 4 or 8 camera system. Review: Five Stars - Works fine as you would expect. Easy to install.
