Excellent tool
Excellent tool to help me remove the instrument cluster on my car. It saved a lot of time and the expense of going to a mechanic.

Special purpose tool, well made, works great but will rarely be used
This tool is used to remove the vent panel on the Mercedes C300 (aka W204). I am not aware of any other panel that needs it so it is specific. I have seen videos of people removing that panel with a regular panel popper and also with a fabricated equivalent. Not wanting to damage my vehicle and not having readily available material to fabricate one, I felt that this tool was worth the cost. I was right, it shipped faster than it would take me to find material and fabricate a tool. I will get very limited use of it as I don’t plan to do any more work on the car’s head unit. Now I need to make sure that I can remember where I stored it if I ever need it again.

bought to pull the vents out of a cla 250
worked to pull the vents out of a cla 250 but the hook as it comes is not enough of a bite so i had to take some pliers and give it an extra bend at the tip to make it more of a U shape to hook into the vent area and pull extremely hard and it worked.

Heavy duty, work well.
I have used these professionally for a while now, and so far they are holding up well. No sense that the handles are pulling out and the hooks are capable of handling high tensional forces.

Not secure grip
It kept slipping, the angled tabs would work better if they were a little bit longer. It worked better when I did one side at a time. This gave me more control and less slippage. Overall ok if you don't that way.
