Great value
Nice flashlight, especially for the cost. For most purposes, there's no need to spend more. It is made out of aluminum and has IP68 rating, so it should be durable and last a long time. It's a nice size, weight, and brightness that probably fits most people's needs. If you just need something around the house or in your glove box, this'll do perfectly. I will say, my favorite Wuben flashlight is the X3, for its small size and fun design, but it's more than twice the cost and less bright, and honestly I use it like a fidget toy as much as a flashlight. The L50 comes with a 2600mAh batter, which I also think is a good choice and value. I have another flashlight with a 5000mAh battery and that flashlight is significantly bigger and heavier, not to mention about 5x the price. Outside of a few instances, I don't have any need for the more expensive, heavier and brighter flashlight over the Wuben L50. I like that it just has one button, and pressing it part way adjusts brightness. Many flashlights have too many features and buttons when most people probably just need on and off. That said, when you push the button part way, you can make it brighter or dimmer. There is an odd quirk that every time you turn the light off and back on, it's at a different brightness. I think it registers the half press when you turn it on and off. I'd probably prefer it always start at the dimmest setting, but it takes maybe one or two seconds to cycle through the different brightness settings, so outside of some sort of really niche use case, it really doesn't matter. I also like that it charges via USB C. A lot of more budget friendly flashlights still use micro USB. It's a small thing, but I'm sure I'm not alone in my quest to have all my electronics be USBC.

Buy it
Love this flashlight. It’s my third one. The belt clip stays sturdy and the light is bright and battery last a long time. I keep losing them because I set them down and forget them at work and people keep snatching them up. Can’t blame them though, it’s a great flashlight.

Keep it simple
This flashlight is the embodiment of the phrase keep it simple. Everything is done via the tail cap, charging, turning on and off, and brightness/mode with a half presses to switch between brightness levels. I own a lot of Wuben lights and I'd have to say this is their most bare bones offering that I own to date. For around $30 with discounts this light is not bad value and with a how simple the UI is, is perfect to hand to someone that's not a flashlight enthusiast. The light feels solidly built and the light output is good. Overall it's not going to win any awards but is a good choice for a simple kitchen drawer light. If you can pick one up for $30 or less I'd recommend checking it out. Pros: Simple UI Included 18650 cell Onboard USB C charging Light throw Build quality Cons: Small tail switch can be hard to press I'm not a huge fan of the cooler color temp Light is a bit bulky for pocket carry

Bright and a handy size
Would be a 5 except for awkward and hard to press on/off switch. Nice and bright. Rechargeable is nice and saves money.

Brightest light I've ever owned. Good thing it has a dimmer. Too bright for some tasks.
Brightest light I've ever owned. Good thing it has a dimmer. Too bright for many tasks. Mostly I use one of the dimmed position. For general looking around in a contained area I use a flashlight with many LEDs in a grid that gives a more diffused light, it makes it easier to see. For tasks that need a bright, focused beam I can't imagine a better flashlight. Light color is bright white. Amount of light when using highest setting is extraordinary. This flashlight focused into a 6‑inch circle can make that patch of surface about as bright as being in direct sunlight.

Not a bad choice!
If you're looking for a durable and bright flashlight for everyday carry, the WUBEN L50 is a strong contender. It packs a serious 1200 lumen punch in a pocket-friendly size (about 5.5 inches long, 5 oz). The beam reaches surprisingly far. I appreciate the simple 5-mode system operated by the tail switch, and the memory function is essential – thumbs up for that! The ECO mode lasting up to 143 hours is impressive. Build quality is excellent. It feels rugged in the hand, made of solid aluminum alloy. The IP68 waterproof rating means I don't worry about rain or dropping it in a puddle, and it's rated for 1.5m drops. It feels like it can handle real-world use and abuse. USB charging is incredibly convenient, and the indicator light is helpful. The waterproof plug for the port seems well-designed. The clip makes it easy to carry in a pocket or on a bag strap. It’s genuinely practical for everything from dog walking and camping to having in the car for emergencies. The manufacturer notes to lock it after use – probably a good idea to avoid draining the battery accidentally. Overall, a well-built, very bright, and convenient rechargeable flashlight that's ideal for EDC. Definitely recommend it.
