CASO Germany Coffee Maker, Black

I was delighted when I opened the box. The coffee maker is modern, streamlined and matches my other new appliances. It's easily programmable and makes delicious coffee that's kept warm plus the inviting coffee scent unfolds throughout the house....love it! My other coffee didn't keep the coffee warm, and was, frankly an eyesore....so happy to have upgraded. I highly recommend the CASO Germany coffee maker.

I purchased this primarily due to its smaller vertical dimension (Limited height available under countertop) and I've found a few odd features ESPECIALLY considering the price-point (It ain't cheap!)#1 No battery backup for the clock. It resets immediately upon a power interruption.#2 No beep/chime when coffee is done.#3 No AM/PM indicator. Clock time is displayed only in 24-hour military format (i.e. 6:00 PM is 18:00 hours)#4 No coffee preference setting (i.e. weak or strong)

Nice sleek design. What I like best about this coffeemaker is that it has minimal options. Fewer options means fewer vulnerabilities and opportunities for failure. Options typically add to the cost. To keep the cost of production down, manufacturers will use cheap frail plastic. If I were to design a coffeemaker it would be just like this. Thecoffee pot easily pours the water into the tank without spillage. The brew time is FAST.You won’t have to leaf through a 100 page manual to use the machine. Based on design, it should last a very long time.My last coffeemaker, a Cuisinart, lasted 18 months. Before that I had a Breville (around $200.). It lasted a bit longer, but the tank actually rusted out. I’m very pleased with purchase.

Make a gold star standard pot of coffee in no time. This coffee maker came packaged great. Three minutes I had it open, cleaned and brewing. Simple system. Great wide shower head equally soaks grounds. Touch front clean and simple look.I highly recommend!!!

Who don’t know what’s mean Made in PRC that Description means Product of China or sometimes Made in PRC is a country of origin label affixed to products manufactured in the People's Republic of China. I don’t like lies, returning

The name CASO Germany picked my interests. I figured it is probably better than the ones we see here. I couldn't figure out whether I needed a transformer for device made in Germany, I thought it uses 220 volts. I bought a transformer which I decide to keep, it is so heavy that the shipping charge is 3/4 of the purchase price. The coffee maker came with 110 volts, shipped from NJ and ready to use.It is very well design, but the lightness in weight was an indication of quality.It is all PLASTIC. Very disappointed.Uses size 4 filter not size 2Coffee is not hot enoughThe heated hot plate stays on for only 30 minutesIt is supposed to be automatic but I've not tried thatYou can get same quality for $50 to $65. A good thing I bought additional warranty, so I see how long it will last or when I get tired of it.

Coffee maker is sleek, intuitive, easy to use and brews great tasting coffee quickly. I was surprised to find out it doesn’t making a beeping noise when the coffee is done brewing. Additionally, the coffee pot you fill with water before dumping the water into the coffee maker, only has numbers on one side of the coffee pot. It’s like it was designed for people who are left handed. With that being said, I’d definitely recommend this product as the pros far exceed the cons.

I really like the sleek design, digital controls but mostly how it makes a great pot of hot coffee. Looks much nicer on my countetop than my previous coffee pot.
