With seemingly hundreds of webcams available, it's hard to know how to choose. This had a good combination of great reviews and good specs. It's a great camera, so it was a good choice for me. Setup is a snap, and while it could be a little tighter, I've found that to be a common issue. It hasn't moved out of place yet. The picture is very clear. It's a wider angle than I'm used to, so I have to make sure I straighten up more of what's seen behind me! For personal and home office use, I couldn't ask for a better camera, especially at this price point.

My retired mom needed a camera for her desktop computer. This camera has a really good picture and the audio is loud and clear. It's completely plug and play on her Windows 10 Dell OptiPlex. No need to manually install any software. Works well with Zoom and Google Meet. The sliding lens cover is a bit hard to slide back and forth, otherwise a well made and designed web cam. As an added bonus, it has a tripod socket on the bottom of the camera stand.

I find the video quality is Very good. The view is a little more wide angle than I'd like, but it is not bad. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I had to download a program off of their website to calibrate the brightness level that it should have been at out of the box. It was just way too bright and washed out before I did that. I also disabled the autofocus because it was distracting and would blur me sometimes. But after that it works great. Not sure how many people would be able to do the adjustments. I got a second one and hooked it up to my son's Linux machine, and for some reason We did not need to adjust anything. Good thing because I didn't see a program for it to adjust things on Linux.

I needed a camera that would work when I remote in to my job for MS Teams meetings. This was basically a plug and play and has amazing quality. Everyone I have been in meetings with said the picture is awesome. It worked so well I had a coworker as me to order one for them as well! Didn't cost a lot, and is doing a great job.

This webcam has no special setup. Plug it in and you're set. The viewing angle is much wider than what you would have on a regular laptop camera, so the image can fit more people (it feels a little zoomed out). I would recommend this camera for anyone that wants to use a second monitor (e.g.: a larger monitor, a TV in the living room), as looking away from the camera during conference calls look a little weird. The included clip allows the camera to stand on its own and you can twist it to get a better viewing angle. The camera is compatible with all the applications I tried to use: Zoom, Skype, FaceTime and web applications. I tested the camera feed on a website and the maximum resolution is 720p at 30fps, what is going to satisfy most conference call needs.

Very happy with this purchase. The camera is definetily 1080p. Image looks clear, autofocus is fine and I was surprised with how wide angle the lens is.I really like that it has a lens conver, this was the key feature that made me to buy it. Also, it has a tripod screw thread.Note that the lens is plastic, so you may want to be carefull when cleaning.

Well what I thought was a great deal turned out to be worthless. I was really impressed while using this for remote teaching. I had to stop using it for a while because we went into the classroom for hybrid teaching so it just sat un-used. Well I am having to teach from home due to weather and the camera coloring is way off and even the HD quality I had at the beginning seems not so crisp and almost blurry now. I got to use this for a total of about 2 months, and I am now going to toss it in the garbage. Don't recommend buying it at all.

Pro: I have a pc with windows 10 pro. I just plugged in the webcam, started zoom, and no issues.Con: The video is good, but not great. It looks like it's having issues with the color or pixels. As I look at my face, it seems to be non stop adjusting each pixel and color. It's not too bad, but I've never had that issue with my webcam built in on my laptop.The webcam was fairly cheap and available. Though I would have preferred a good logitech webcam if they were available.
