D'Addario Pro Arté Nylon Classical Guitar Strings, EJ43, Light Tension, 6-String Set, Pack of 1

Very nice sounding strings for classical guitar. Below are my guidelines when buying strings and deciding which to get: In case you didn't know, classical guitars have wider necks and more space between the strings, where as acoustic guitars are your standard issue taylor swift guitar. Classic guitar strings are more for finger picking and instrumental songs, which make these specialized for slurs, hammer-ons, etc. Acoustic guitar strings are better for playing chords. Light Tension refers to how hard it is to press the string down to play it, and how loose it is strung essentially. Light tension strings like these are strings that are very easy to press down against the neck of the guitar and/or bend to manipulate the sound being played. They are especially useful for beginners or people whose fingers hurt from pressing the strings down for so long so hard, since you don't have to push down as hard to play the note cleanly. Nylon strings are best for slurs, hammer-ons, etc. which is why it is ideal for classical guitars, as it allows for finger pickings and slurring without getting that screechy sound you sometimes hear from a guitar. Metal strings produce that sound, whereas nylon are smooth and have no grooves, so they don't screech. Metal strings are generally thought to sound better for chords though, depending on your preferences really. As an intermediate guitar player, I still like these types of strings best and always will. I highly recommend Light tension, nylon strings

The strings arrived on time from Amazon on time and I couldn't wait to get started. Everything is neatly labeled and packaged and I had no trouble getting everything setup and tuned. I will say they took a while to settle down. I had to retune for quite a while after installing them. the G A and high E were all more challenging than the lower three. They kept stretching and I had to re-tighten many many times before they finally started to hold a tune. Now that they are set a bit better they seem to be holding a tune very well. They are very nice to play on as they have a very smooth finish. I definitely recommend these strings to anyone with an old classical guitar that hasn't been played in a while. This will really wake up the sound and give you some brightness you've been missing.

These are good strings. Unfortunately the delivery had only four of the five sets I ordered and paid for. I tried to report this through customer services, but the system made me choose endless options, none of which allowed me to type in the fact that the one set was missing. I suppose I'll just have to take the loss.

As cordas Daddario são excelentes. Porém as tensões média e leve são mais confortáveis. Sem prejuízo para o som. Essa leve é muito boa. As mãos agradecem. Uso essas cordas há muitos anos. Recomendo.
