I am very pleased with the purchase of this Miyoo harness for my cat. I was trying another vest-type harness, and even though my cat was tolerating it, he never really had freedom of movement and he couldn't groom himself. The Miyoo Pet Harness is easy to put on and lets my cat move and play freely and he can groom himself without restriction. I had some misgivings about the size and some reviews questioned the glued structure, but I found the harness to be well-constructed and it fit my cat with just a minor adjustment, which can be done easily with the buckles. The top closure was easier to close and open than other harnesses I have tried. I especially like the fact that this harness fits around his shoulders and back and does not choke him around the neck. The leash is longer than what I expected and measures 44 inches. My cat weighs about 12 pounds, neck measures 12 inches, and chest 17 inches. I only had to adjust the harness around the shoulders and the chest fit perfectly. The harness also has a buckle to adjust around the chest if needed. I am using the harness to attach a tie-out lead to my cat when we go camping. I highly recommend the Miyoo Pet Leash and Harness set. It is a great price at $5.99 and an inexpensive way to see if your cat likes this type of harness. I also wanted to mention that if you have any reservations about the glued connections, it would be easy just to reinforce with hand or machine stitching. The bright colors of the harness and leash are a bonus!

Wasn't keen on having to also get the leash with harness. But figured I can use the leash to make new harnesses, using latches and stuff off the 1st ones, when the strapping wears out.Update: a couple years later: I used these on both our cats, one weighing 15 lbs., other weighs about 12 lbs. Both very active, yet this harness allows full range of motion, and doesn’t seem to rub too hard anywhere.Harness needs to be adjusted snugly—to be tight enuf cat can’t wiggle out of it, but allow one finger to comfortably slide between harness & cat’s skin. When harness is properly used & adjusted, the cat cannot wiggle-out of it.Be aware, cats commonly just flop-down on sidewalk or ground, if a leash is attached, & they are not used to it. First, let them wear harness in the house to get used to it. It will be the leash being hooked onto the harness that causes them to lay down in their tracks.To get them to walk with leash, put it on while standing by door. When door is opened, cat is interested in going out…might take some time & tries, but cats will usually get used to it. They don’t usually walk on a leash like dogs. That takes much more training!The braided material does kinda comb out/ shred fairly soon, and looks furry, gets grungy...yet still stays on. The better fleas are controlled, the less scratching, & longer the harness lasts.When it got too shredded from them scratching, I carefully used the old one as a measurement pattern, using the leash as replacement material to stitch onto the harness hardware, to rebuild a harness.Got about 2 more harnesses out of each leash.Very happy with this. Will get more.

colorful but very easy to chew through and was destroyed very quickly

Both of our cats are indoor/outdoor cats. One of our cats, however, likes to stay out as long as possible, so long that she sometimes stays out all night long doing whatever she wants to do. We don't like when she stays out all night in case of coyotes or other wild animals that are common for our area. So, I invested in this harness so that we can still take her out at night when she has to 'go' but she won't be able to stay out all night long. I loved the price of this item and that it fits my 6lb cat pretty well. Plus, the colors of the harness are great for going out at night because they look vibrant against our cat's white fur.Now, the reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there aren't any instructions that come with the harness/leash set and it's difficult to tell if my cat is wearing the harness correctly. It seems like it would be pretty easy to figure out, but whenever my cat is wearing this harness, she just lays on the ground and refuses to move. I can't tell if it's because she feels like a predator trapped her, or if it's because the harness actually doesn't fit correctly.It's common for cats to react like this when they feel like they've been trapped, but I wish there were instructions or guidelines to point of if she is acting like this for another reason.

I have a 4mo old (5lb) yorkie puppy. The straps on this are not too thick for her. The fact that the straps adjust will allow her to grow with this. She gets the last of her shots in a couple days and will be able to use this! This seems very well made and the price is unbeatable. $5 for a harness AND leash is amazing. If recommend this to anyone looking for an adjustable, step in harness.

The only problem I have with this is the adjustable straps do not adjust small enough to secure my rabbit. She is approximately the same size as a small dog, but some how she keeps wiggling out of it because it's not secure enough.

It was cute and cheap but my yorkie had it torn up in less than two months. It worked in a pinch until I could afford something that I HOPE works better.

Cute and easy to use, I really like the fact that it hours around her chest not her neck. Once my kitty got used to it, everything went smoothly. Exactly as described. My cat is about 5 lbs.
