HUBSAN Remote Control 4-Channel, 2.4GHz Transmitter (TX) for X4 H107L & H107C Quadcopter

This is an excellent quadcopter controller, highly suggested as a replacement for your existing controller as it is compatible with a wide range of copters.Features:-Digital display and color-changing LED status light, with a lot of information. When trimming the display will show trim levels (in a two-digit percent, 50 being middle). Also shows connection status, battery status, and more.-Tons of features. Click the right stick to switch between low and high rate (aka trick mode), also calibrates gyros (hold the left stick in bottom-right, wiggle right stick), and more! (switches between mode 1 and mode 2)-4 independent trim settings, one for each joystick axis.-Long sticks with textured ends for a good degree of accuracy/grip.-Springs are strong enough to pop sticks back to neutral quickly, but aren't so hard so they don't tire your fingers.-Also compatible with many non-Hubsan models, such as the Estes Proto/Syncro lines.-With 4 AA batteries, this controller should run for a long time between switching batteries.-Comfortable grip, the controller is a nice size and shape for most hands.Really there's nothing to complain about here. This is a great controller, and the only possible areas I could suggest for improvement would increase the cost- for example, a rubberized grip might be nice, but to keep the device cost down, I'm fine without it.

Upgrading the Proto X is light night and day. This controller gives so much more precision and customization it's unreal. It's tremendously easier to do precision manuvers and not bounce the throttle like I used to. Plus, having larger hands, it's much easier to deal with this.Really, my only complaint is how my drone acts when using this. Twice I've had it start spinning violently to one side. It's acting like the Yaw control but I rarely rotate; I typically fly with it facing away from me still. Regardless, once it did it and crashed into the wall, the other time it spun for a second then recovered. I'd never had this happen prior to using this controller. Not a deal breaker, but still a little concerning...

Purchased this for use with my Estes Syncro/X (which appears to be a fully whitelabelled Hubsan quadcopter). Makes flying much easier than with the included mini remote due to the larger joysticks, and actually provides access a number of features in the drone which are not accessible with the factory remote (such a enabling Expert Mode).My mini-quadcopter can actually do banking turns and flips when using this remote. You'll want to look up the user's manual online on how to access these features - the product does not include any documentation in the box.Issues:The sticks feel cheap and aren't very comfortable.4 AAA batteries are not included.

My grandson has a Proto-X and flies the tiny thing with the teeny transmitter that ships with it. There's really nothing wrong with that controller except it is small and the controls are very sensitive. I got him this unit as a gift. It will bind to the Proto-X and you can adjust the sensitivity to give a much better flying experience.Sure, it's probably overkill for the tiny Proto-X but it does make flying it more fun and that's what it is all about.Incidentally, it is identical to the transmitter that ships with the Hubsan so it scores points on that front as well.

Mostly a ditto for other 5-star reviews here. I have a Proto X. I am probably as bad a pilot for the Proto X as exists on the planet, at least when using the stock controller. I bought this Hubsan and...well, I'm still not great, but I am far from frustrated. I can now do takeoffs and landings, move the Proto X where I want it, and only occasionally crash land.If and when I get competent, I can use the online versions of the manual that doesn't come with the Hubsan (https://cali-bros.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Hubsan-H107L-Instruction-Manual.pdf for one example) and customize the controller more.

There was no way to specify mode 1 or mode 2 during the checkout process. In reading the comments, it seems most people received mode 2, which is what I wanted, so I ordered one. I received a mode 1 Tx. I know you can switch modes electronically, but that does not handle switching the sticks. IE: When I put the Tx in mode 2, the throttle stick (left) stays centered. Not good.I'm returning it.

This item is everything I asked for and more! I bought this for my Estes Proto X, but was also surprised when it worked for my Estes Synchro as well. I would recommend that if you have either one, this is a controller you should spend the money to get. With this controller the Proto X and the Synchro have become so much more fun, with the ability to switch into high rates, switching off the LEDs and a bunch of other features the stock controller doesn't provide, I'm getting so much more enjoyment out of my quads.

I purchased this TX as somehow in storage i managed to snap the stick on the left hand throttle of my original Hubsan H107C transmitter and could not find just a stick replacement anywhere. I had to buy the whole handset. It bound perfectly with my H107C and works perfectly. What I would say is that it felt less responsive than my original transmitter. I decided to dismantle the new handset to take the stick out and put it into my old handset and discovered that this purchase is an earlier version of the handset. My 'old' handset is the newer version and is definitely more 'twitchy' and responsive in regular mode (not Expert mode). This is distinguished by the markings v1.2 on the circuit board of this handset as opposed to v1.3 on my old handset. Most people won't appreciate the difference much. This comment is really aimed at the geeks (like me) who squabble over the smallest details..!!I've given it 5 stars because overall it is an excellent product, worth buying and delivered quickly and impeccably packaged by this supplier.

I broke my old one and bought this as a replacement. It is exactly the same as my original. However on thin i notices is the throttle stick is smoother operating that my original so making flying it so much easier. Amazingly speedy delivery
