Salvimar ONE Plus Freediving Watch

For a low-cost Freediving watch, this is the perfect purchase. If you are a spearfisherman or a freediver who doesn't want to dive down and keep worrying about how much down time they have left by always looking at their watch, this is the fantastic choice. Different parameters can be utilized. As a freediver myself, the Salvimar watch should have been on my wrist years ago. What does it do....1. It has a setting that tells you when you have reached the depth you have programmed in and warns you when you are deeper than you might have originally wished you wanted to go. 2. You can set it so it tells you that you maximum down time has been reached and alerts you that it is time to surface. 3. The diving function has the Water temperature where you was and after you surface, it counts how long your head has been above water before you go back down (Recovery Time). How safe you are is up to you. You know how long you can stay down and how comfortable you are at what depth you choose. The depth sensor is spot on with the actual depth. The watch has all of these different features programmed in to keep you alerted. The land functions (Time, Stopwatch, Daylight Savings Time, and other times in other time zones) are also big attributes to this watch. Well done. I hope that the previous reviews about durability with the watch not holding up is just simply how it is taken care of and how it holds up for years to come. It did a little figuring out to get everything set, but once I figured that out, it's pretty awesome. The biggest thing I did notice is it clearly says, DO NOT PUSH BUTTONS UNDERWATER. The way this watch is designed, the buttons should never have to be pushed underwater. Simply push the start button before you start to descend. Everything else initiates automatically as you swim down. I hope you enjoy your watch and I hope this review helps makes a good buying decision for you. So far, my watch has the 5 Star rating.

I bought it in Italy, where diving gear costs often less than half than in the USA. I am pretty happy with it. Have yet to change the battery. The price in the USA came down and I think this is a good buy. Its depth, temperature data is consistent with another watch (seac). The recovery time is highly visible. All the important data for a spear fisher is there. My only issue is the digit in the bottom row could be a little larger, but I think that has been improved in the most recent mode (one plus) and the Salvimar Deeper step up watch. This looks good also as an everyday sports watch. Amazon in june 2021 has deleted thousands of genuine relevant reviews and it is hard to get a sense. I saw only a negative review was visible for this watch. Amazon trying to address fake reviews of Chinese electronics has deleted the great treasure of user reviews that were really helpful. I hope this review balances what is left. Of course there are better watches, but for the price this is a solid great option.

Nice free dive watch. Does everything I need .

I've been using the salvimar one plus watch for a couple of months now and it works great for me and it has all of the functions I need for free-diving. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a dive computer I would recommend this one.

Worked great and had the settings i wanted, then it stopped working and froze after 3 months of use.

My hubby bought me this Christmas 2022, but I didn't get a chance to test it out until July 2023 (well after the return window closed). There is nothing wrong with it; it is just not suitable for multilevel scuba dives in several locations in one day. I also found some of the type on the face to be too small. (But my vision is fair to middling). Twice it defaulted to factory settings. I thought it was operator error until I gave it to my dive master (who has over 2k dives). She agreed that it was inadequate for the type of scuba diving we were doing. Admittedly, I'm not experienced when it comes to using diving computers as I always used tables. I feel I need something more intuitive or dumbed down.

Super produit. Une des rares montres trouvées qui affiche une température de l'eau convenable quand on pratique un sport aquatique. Pb : Trop de fonctions inutiles au détriment de la simplification d'utilisation et même pas de manuel d'utilisation en Français heureusement disponible facilement sur le net. Le bracelet a par contre lâché au bout de 1 an d'utilisation et le changement à l'identique est impossible où alors je n'ai pas compris la procédure.
