This was a present for our daughter. A Friends fan of many years. Was expecting some wool for the main characters not the props

The box proudly proclaims that it contains everything required to make the sofa and the Thanksgiving turkey, and indeed it does. Just don't expect to make anything else with this kit; the box is mostly empty. While it's technically correct about what it contains, it's deliberately misleading and you'll need to buy a lot more yarn to actually complete the set. That's if you can follow the mistake-filled instructions and get over your crushing disappointment that you paid this much for an empty box.

I received a different crochet kit for Christmas and so have been learning how to do it via YouTube and a beginners crochet book, so I’m very much a beginner. But I am very pleased with the results! The yarn you receive for the Couch and Turkey is not great - very “scratchy” and too thick. But I still managed. The book is full of errors, some very easy to spot, and others not so easy - I messed my Couch up by stuffing the wrong number of rows as the instructions were wrong. But despite all this, I have ended up with the attached Friends so am pleased! If you can persevere with the faults and buy some better wool, any Friends fan would love this!

I am a huge Friends fan and couldn’t wait for this kit to arrive. Finished the couch with the supplies included in the kit and I love it. One small note though is there is a mistake in the pattern. The photos are all correct but the words are off in a few spots. The back of the couch is made from the bottom up and you should stuff rows 10-25 and NOT rows 1-9 of the back. Can’t wait to finish all the characters and their cute accessories. Allison Hoffman is known for her pop culture inspired amigurumi and doesn’t disappoint with these. Must have for fans of Friends, especially those that crochet!
