Safety first
Hopefully I never need to test out the true purpose for these bag but they seem well made and fold nice and flat when not in use.

I feel safer with it
I have a power bank where the battery swelled to the point of splitting the clamshell apart. Lithium ion batteries are more difficult to safely dispose of, so I opted to place it in one of these, and then store it outside in an old rusted Weber grill. It's large enough to fit most any size smartphone, and feels pretty good. Not sure how it'll survive if it does go up in flames but I feel better should that come to pass.

ZERO ISSUES WITH TSA. They asked what it was and what was in it? Opened the bag they looked at the battery pack and he closed it back up and I was told everything was fine. They did ask what size the battery was amp hour wise. Mine was 20000mah. If in doubt call your air carier before you get there. According to Google this is the rule for flying with a lithium battery As 20000mah makes for less than 100 watt-hours, it can be carried in cabin luggage. In conclusion, power banks are allowed on flights, albeit with certain restrictions and guidelines that need to be followed. THEY CAN NEVER BE PLACED IN CHECKED LUGGAGE EVER....
