The boots are a great deal. The quality is excellent and the fit is good, plus they're sharp too! They did require a few days to break in, but I never met a boot that didn't! I really like the rubber sole and heel..I've had much pricier boots with leather soles and wooden heels that just didn't seem durable enough for daily wear. I did put rubber-like heel guards on as a preventive measure before wearing these. If you're looking for a good boot at a very reasonable price, you can stop right here!Update..I've had these 2 months now. Since then, I bought a boot from a different manufacturer with styling I really like and in brown which I needed. It also cost 50% more than the Laredos. Yes, it is worth more, with obviously nicer materials. Well, it is apparent that a bit more spent is well worth it. That said, the Laredos have completely conformed to my foot and they are so comfortable. Still look brand new after moderate wear. So, for an inexpensive boot, you're getting decent durability, looks, comfort and price. Seems like the quality of boots run in $50 increments..but the Laredos are a great buy if you're just looking for your basic boot.One final thought; some people don't like the idea of a synthetic shaft but that's not entirely true. The front half is leather..the back is synthetic.Update 2. After 6 months these boots have conformed to my feet completely and are supremely comfortable. They also show no signs of wear whatsoever.

My boots came in, and my excitement was immediately ruined upon opening the box. The left shoe had scuff marks on the toe, and the stitching running down the side looked like it was about to pop. I am aware leather boots will accrue scuffs, but I want to be personally responsible for each scuff. The stitching is what really bothers me. Either the boots were horribly made, severely mis-handled, or somebody else had worn them for a while before they were shipped to me. I ordered a replacement pair, so I'll re-visit this review in a couple days when they get here. I would have been nice to get a decent looking pair on the first go around, however.UPDATE:New boots came in today. Replacement was fast and hassle-free. The stitching looks good, no scuffs on the boots. I'll chalk my first order up in the "s*** happens" category. These are very nice looking, comfortable boots. Construction seems solid. Could make a decent work boot in another color but I will say the Copper Kettle seems pretty susceptible to scuffs. That doesn't really bother me because a certain amount of scuffing from frequent wear gives boots character, but if you are going to be doing serious work in these boots I would probably opt for tan. They fit true to size for me, but I have a fairly narrow foot and I could see the width being a problem for some. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and pleased that my initial problem with the purchase was resolved quickly and painlessly.

I wanted to make sure I had a chance to wear these before posting a full review. So I wore these as my only shoes in Vegas for a week on vacation. I didn't have any problems, and I walked a lot.Cons:- I bought the tan distressed. They are exactly the color of the Copper Kettle versions. I really had to check the stitching pattern to see that I got the right boot. I was expecting the color to show up equivalent to a typical Timberland boot, so I had to deduct a star for that.- The bottom part of the boot looks and feels like good material, but the top part with the pattern looks plastic-y to me. I haven't had any problems with it, but to some people this may look cheap.- The straps to pull the boots on are sort of...I don't know. That is probably too nitpicky, and shouldn't stop anyone from getting these boots.Pros:- Affordable when it comes to boots. I thought I was going to have to spend a couple hundred dollars.- Fit is great, and like others have said I didn't need any break-in time. I could wear these right out of the box.- The bottom part is pretty attractive and they look good with my jeans- The sole is oil and chemical resistant so it is solid and I feel pretty good about them (I will wear the heck out of a pair of boots)If someone were looking for boots, I would recommend these. I wasn't sure about buying boots online, but other than the color being off, this was a good experience.

I also bought $250 dollar boots from a local store around rodeo time, but I actually wear these more when I’m in a country or Tejano outfit mood. I am so impressed with the quality for the price! I added some Dr. Scholl’s gel insoles for comfort, and now that they’re broken in, these boots are super comfortable and look great.

I love these boots. They are very nice looking and very good quality for the price. They took me only one day to break them in and they are now very comfortable. I stated that they are somewhat big but what I meant by that is that they are just slightly longer in the toe area than I expected. The size is exactly as I ordered and they fit me fine. I just didn't think they were quite as pointy toed as they are. However, that is my own personal opinion and I still give these boots 5 stars based on comfort, quality, appearance and price. I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent product. The leather is exquisite and they fit perfectly.They look even better than the picture shows, the sole is strong hard-rubber, which prevent slipping quite a bit. I think even if you don't usually enjoy wearing boots, these may change your mind. The only thing I may see as a drawback to them, though it doesn't bother me at all, is that I wasn't expecting the heel to be so high, they are not uncomfortably high, but high enough to see and feel the difference, so when I put them on I feel even taller than I already am.They look so good that I may end up using them as my formal wear shoes.

I had to pay little more but it's worth it so didn't buy cheap buy Real leather.save your money and the boots are perfect fit.

Good quality for the price. Nice boots, I like em a lot. Feel great and fit nicely.
