Rugged 4G LTE Android Barcode Scanner Pistol Grip Handheld Mobile Computer 5" Touch Screen with Honeywell N6603 1D 2D Code Reader WiFi GPS for Enterprise WMS

I have some very specific requirements in my workplace, and so far so good. It took me some time to set up the mobile terminal (which I'll call an MT for short). I might save someone else some time by sharing a few thoughts.If you buy this with the grip and trigger, there are a few things you should know. The grip has its own battery and it acts as an optional battery bank for the MT when you double tap the button on the bottom of the grip.The trigger was NOT enabled by default on arrival. It needs to be enabled in the Scan Settings menu, which is located with the other main settings, but DON'T search for it in the settings search bar. You will not find it. You have to scroll to get to it. (It took me a while to figure this out). There were no instructions that came with the device, so you're on your own. Luckily, most things are intuitive for anyone who has ever used an Android phone.About the action character option, which is the optional character that in sent following the scan (like the carriage return aka the enter key). If you're using a remote desktop app that uses tab rather than enter to move between fields, you should know that Android keyboards generally do not have a tab key and many Android apps including the MS RD Client for Android does not seem to support the tab key. Luckily, this isn't a problem for me.The MT seems like it has good hardware. The processor is definitely fast enough and the device seems durable. We'll see if it stands the test of time. The MT has plenty of battery life, especially with the extra power from the grip. I purchased the upgraded Honeywell version mainly because I've always preferred Honeywell scanners to others, and Honeywell didn't disappoint. Scanning 2D barcodes is quite fast, which was one of my requirements.Overall, I'm happy so far.

I really do like this unit. it works well, scans fast, boots fast enough. It is no fuss get to work type device. I do wish they include a thicker padding around the device to help with drops and other warehouse accidents. overall, i would buy and recommend this unit.

We needed new scanners that run android 11 or later. We have been a Sinicvision customer for years, so I went with them to upgrade our 15 handheld scanners. So far the new units have been very nice. no issues. Sinicvision support has been awesome, as always. They included a few extras for us since we purchased more than 10 scanners.Good product, great customer service!

We use these in our distribution center. They scan barcodes very fast. Wifi is stable. Work as well as known US brands but the price is only 1/3. Great value.

I have used this device for over a year and have been very happy with it so for. It's very portable and works well with my Intranet applications. I like the extra battery in the handle that helps ensure that there is plenty of power. Also, on the one occasion that I had an issue, the reseller was very helpful in getting my issue resolved.

I have the older version and the newer version, and I will be buying a couple more this month. Great product, has made our production team way mope efficient not needing to be tied to a PC while setting up delivery sets. We are rolling out a couple more at our intake area shortly. It's a tough little unit to survive the team I have :)

Good product all options available I developed sub Inventory system that can import all trasfered excel files to my software and from there i start cycle count with the help of my new amazing handheld computer I've created auto barcode generator that can format product name into barcode as well.
