Became my go-to pasta brand
Nothing wrong with the name brand pasta I had been eating; but discovered De Cecco this summer by trying their angel hair pasta; and never looked back. This brand just has a good bite and flavor; cooks up beautifully; and keeps in the fridge (covered) really well. You get a lot of bang for the buck - every shape I have tried has been great. I like to whip up a quick sauce with canned tomatoes, basil, spices, olive oil, mushrooms and bacon; microwave the penne pasta with mozzarella - a hearty ultimate comfort food meal that's inexpensive too. Ordered a 12 pack of penne because I didn't want to run out!

It's the best, but look for a good price!
Don't pay more than $4/lb.

De Cecco is great, but here in America so expensive.
Of Course, we are from Europe and eat only italian made pasta! De Cecco is great, but here in America so expensive.

Used to be one of the best, not anymore.
My review is for the De Cecco pasta that is made for the US market as it is different than the one made for Italy/Europe. Unfortunately, this pasta is made using US wheat (research it yourself). It is also enriched. These things make the De Cecco pasta we are eating in the US much different than what is being made in Italy. Also, I believe the advertising they are posting here on Amazon applies to their Italian product, so they are not lying, but it's very misleading. I used to love De Cecco but stopped buying it when I learned they do not use Italian wheat and it is now an enriched macaroni product (which is not something I will eat.) There is a reason Italians can eat loads of pasta and not have issues. The wheat is different in Italy, and it's processed differently. Yes, do your own research and decide accordingly. I no longer recommend De Cecco pasta in the USA.
