Orange Micro Dark Mini Valve Hybrid 20 Watt Guitar Amp Head Free Cable Bundle

I own many guitar heads, this one is one of my favourites. This one comes with an effects loop, which for an amp in it's price range is not common, so it's a great platform to build an effects laden monster rig. PLENTY of gain in this guy, though you extreme metal heads might want a tube scream out front of your signal. I used a Maxon OD to push this thing, and it screams. Though you don't really need anything but a decent cab to make this thing rock. Simple design, and no fuss. I love this thing. It's size makes it so easy to simply bring it where ever you want to melt faces.If you wanted to play around with tubes, swap in a few different types for different gain, and sounds, you could. But I like it as is.

Liked it enough to purchase a second unit from the vendor in person.The 12AX7 is pretty sweet up front, and although I generally eschew solid-state amp stages, these hit the mark quite well.Bonus points: they're actually DC powered with an external power supply. So running this on a 12/24 volt off grid power system is easy when camping, etc.Here's a short video clip beginning dry, then stereo across a pair of these with some reverb and ping-pong delay. 2x12" open cabinet left, 2x12" closed cab right.

When i first opened it i was like "omg look at that, its so tiny looks like a toy! so cute" but when i connected it... he shut me with a slap... THIS THING IS LOUD! more loud than a 50w roland head that i have... Maybe it was the 4x12 cabinet i dont know, but it puches hard, and the tone is badass, it have very rich bass and mid tone... I really love it... The only con that i found is that on cleans the volume is very low, but it sounds better the more you twist the knobs... So screw the cleans

Sounds awesome. I got it mostly because I had a gift card and wanted a cheaper amp that I could play through headphones. Honestly even though it's hybrid it still sounds amazing compared to my Tiny Terror. It's loud and sounds great both through the PPC 108 and PPC 112 (Though the 12" is way better). Definitely recommend!

Yes it's loud. It can get some interesting sounds. But , and a big but, it is noisy...background noise, even if your not pluged in...tons of hiss...if the gain is up even a bit. Some like big buts...so you decide...

I love this head! I wanted a Micro Terror but the lack of effects loop stopped me. When I saw the Micro Dark had a loop I did not hesitate . Very responsive to the volume knob. Well engineered. I use the headphone out into other amps for super cool tones. Sounds amazing.

Little amp, impressive sound for size. Thing is just awesome. Through good headphones the amp sim is great. Sounds great with a cab too. Can power a 4x12 but very bassy. A Orange 1x12 sounds perfect for this thing.
