Cat loves it
Our cat doesn't like gravy, but loves this. It really looks like chicken soup.

Very high quality cat food
We have a cat that develops urinary stones easily, and must also be on a low purine diet. The Science Diet food suggested by the vet resulted in dull, dry coats, vomiting, and lethargic behavior, even after a lenghty adjustment period.Weruva foods to the rescue! Their Paw Lickin' Chicken, Grandma's Chicken Soup, and Peking Duck flavors meet our dietary needs perfectly, with much healthier, higher quality ingredients than the SD food. These are very "soupy" foods, with lots of liquid in the can, ideal for cats who may not stay well hydrated otherwise. I was afraid that our cats would not eat the vegetable chunks, but they surprised me by not only eating them, but picking them out to eat first! The shredded chicken seems to be very high quality but the texture seems a little hard for them to manage sometimes. At first, they sometimes left chicken on the plate. Now, they seem more used to it and eat it more easily. After trying a number of different high end canned products, these are our cats' favorites, paws down! After several months on the food, they seem very healthy, with shiny coats, healthy-looking eyes, and lots of energy.

Not the favorite of my cats
The soup looks and smells wonderful...as good as human soup... but unfortunately not for my cats... but my outside feral cats treat it like gold...so. I can only go ax high as a 4

Year old cat loves this
My cat loves this but he likes the peas smashed. He did like the Paw licken chicken but threw it up yesterday so now he doesn't want to eat that one.

Our cat waits for dinner time to eat Grandma's Chicken Soup
Our cat LOVES this food, she's waiting for it every night when it's dinner time. We buy it by the case now because she won't eat anything else. It's got large chunks of chicken and nice pieces of carrots and peas (she pushes the peas off the plate so we have to smash them to get her to eat them). There is also plenty of juice in the can so it's not dry and gives our cat a little extra treat.

Chicken Soup for the Cat's Soul
Although my cat is not a finicky eater, he really loves Weruva's Grandma's Chicken Soup! Because I need to get more liquid into his diet (he has been diagnosed with struvite crystals and needs to ingest more liquid), this soupy food is the perfect way to do that. And finally, I like this cat food because it is "real" food, not chopped up by-products like many cat foods. As a result of feeding my best furry guy this food, he has had fewer digestive problems and no urinary issues.

Used to be 5-star food, but something changed, AGAIN...
I've been buying Weruva food for years for my cat, specifically the 9-Liver and Grandma's Chicken Soup recipes. It used to be great, and I was able to control my cat's weight (from 19 lbs. down to 16 lbs. on vet's order within 2 months). My cat was even getting a healthier-looking coat so I could tell something was really working... UNTIL:Last year, I noticed that the 9-Liver recipe changed, as it looked and smelled different. My cat noticed too, and would just turn his nose away, refusing to eat it and would keep begging me for something different. Also noticed that within an hour after being left out, this overwhelming putrid smell would start emanating from the food. My cat is sometimes a "grazer" and will eat just a little at a time, so the food needs to not spoil quickly after setting it out. So I stopped buying 9-liver last year, but kept on with the Grandma's Soup flavor since he still seemed to like that, and the recipe seemed consistent...But, now this same problem has started happening with the Grandma's Soup flavor as well. Immediately upon opening every can in the last two orders, I could tell there was something different about the smell. Again, my cat also noticed and just turns his nose away, refusing to eat it. And just like before, the food would rapidly spoil within an hour of being left out, and a distinct rancid and rotting smell that is pretty unbearable starts filling the room. Blech!I was able to get a refund (thank you, Amazon) but I am upset that I no longer have a quality grain-free wet cat food that I can trust for the time being. So now it's back to the drawing board in finding a different healthy line to try out with my fur buddy.Bottom line: I can no longer trust Weruva, and wish they never changed the recipe or process that led to such an inferior product from what it was before. Will never buy again.
