Linear Logic SGMOUNT Window Mount

The mount has held up so far both on dash and windshield. Doesn't exactly like the cold but it's done good for keeping my gauge where I've needed it, it's a nice accessory to have. Nothing has broken and it only took a few minutes to install/assemble. Held up well, it's sturdy and I like the ease of use. It does swivel/moving parts making it easy to put it into view.

Very solid piece that mounts the scangauge II very well to a clean window. Easy to use and includes two suction cup sizes, which are both easy to mount around on your windshield. Very pleased with the product! Recommended for any scanguage users!

I like the concept however the execution needs some work. I installed it on a Monday and by Friday the part that installs over the "ball" and attaches to the back of the ScanGauge allowing it to pivot to a comfortable viewing angle (called the "slim tab head" according to the instructions) broke. There are flexible fingers inside it allowing pop over the ball and maintain some tension on it to keep the angle of the ScanGauge. Three of four of these fingers broke making the mount useless. To its credit Linear Logic when called and informed of this failure indicated they knew about the issue and sent me a replacement part. So, it seems that piece needs re-engineered. I have since received a new part from Linear Logic and this time I more carefully "snapped" the retaining part over the ball on the windshield mounted part and it has held up much better than the original did. It may have been that I carelessly installed this part the first time around thereby breaking one or more of the retaining "fingers" within. I will update at a later date.

Simple to use and adapt my scan gauge. Suction cup works pretty well but can fall off with heat so remove when not in use.

Works pretty well. The magnet that attaches to the scangauge is a bit odd, it's a circle and the diameter is a few millimeters bigger than the back of the gauge so there is overhang. I read complaints that the ball joint is too flimsy but I think it's fine, just be gentle or support the scangauge when you push buttons. I liked it enough to buy a second one for my other car and I'm considering a third for my truck.

I like this mount because it's adjustable and has not fallen off my windshield during the 3 months that I have owned it. The velcro strips that come with the scan gauge are pretty much useless for attaching on rounded surfaces. (F250 Superduty)

Owned the mount a whopping four days... and already the ball-joint doesn't have enough resistance to hold the weight of the scangauge up. It simply flops down & eventually falls off the joint... just from normal around town driving. Very disappointed in this product. Do yourself a favor and skip it.

First off let me state there is nothing special about this mount, especially for the price tag. I bought this thinking it would be made of good quality as usually the price would reflect that and the actual quality of the Scanguage is great for what it does! The mount.....different story. I have owned it now for exactly 2 weeks. The plastic ball joint it uses is completely useless now. Has zero grip and the display just hangs freely. Super glue should not be needed for a mount priced this way. Find a different way to mount or a different mount if you ask me.

Item arrived on time. Instructions very simple to follow. Only issue ( my issue ) I had was how to install the cable to the device neatly. The only quibble was that this must be old stock or stored in a warm place as the alcohol wipe had dried out. No biggie as I has screen wipes around the house so just used that before fitting the 3M pad into place on the Scangauge. The Window Mount has some nice adjustment, as with my windscreen it’s curved so with the ball joint makes it simple to level out the display. Recommended.

Wish mount would hard mount to scanner. Not be attached with sticky tape with no stick.
