This grinder is just delightful. I bought it just over a month ago because I wanted a grinder with a receptacle that I could use for my fancy schmancy peppercorns, and this thing turned out to be perfect. I noticed a lot of other reviewers had some specific complaints, which I think are worth addressing: 1. Size: Yes, it’s small. You can pretty clearly see that in the product photos. I personally have pretty big hands, and I have no problem holding this. I can also walk and chew gum at the same time. Yes, the opening to fill it is small (again, just like in the photos). That’s why it comes with an adorable yet functional scoop. As long as your hands aren’t shaking from too many wine coolers last night, you should have no trouble loading it. It can hold a decent amount, but yeah you’ll have to refill it more often than your Costco grinder. I like to load just enough for each use so that I can switch up my peppercorns as I go. 2. Construction: Yes! The bottom comes off! That’s what it’s supposed to do. You know, so you can get to that pepper that you just ground. Just support the bottom while you’re grinding, and you’ll be fine. I myself just hold it so that I can brace the bottom with my ring and pinky fingers, and have never had a problem with spillage. Bottom line is that this is a wonderful little grinder. It looks great on my counter, and is perfectly functional for my needs. It would make a great gift for others or for yourself.

I love the design and the look of it but it’s not to grind spices. I would say it’s more a decorative piece. Once I put the pepper to grind it the thing got stuck and it didn’t turn anymore so I just keep it for decoration now

- Added: this item is very beautiful and I should have mentioned that in my original response. - Average grinder I had trouble with peppercorns but it did break down some spices and herbs to make an Italian spice mix. The cost was reasonable, but it is hard fill and to clean. I bought an electric grinder at a thrift store and this grinder is now sitting on my shelf with a small plant in the bowl. Update: the provider contacted me this is the first time I have had an actual response to a review so I am adding an extra star for their effort.

The item is very nice, well made, love the catcher on the bottom, smaller than what I expected, but still a very nice grinder, and glad I bought it. Perfect for our RV.

Works well, Very easy to use and caryy with you where ever go. It seems to be good qulaity. Nice design and easy to use. Addjusting the courseness is a little difficult, it need a different type of adjustment nut.

This pepper grinder is too small to be of much use. It holds very few peppercorns and is hard to twist. I abandoned it after a few months. Update: The seller, Crystalia, offered me a full refund. The product didn't work for me but the seller provides outstanding customer service. I would certainly buy other products from them!

I use a pepper grinder everyday and was looking for something functional and unique it sit out on my countertop. This exceeded my expectations. It’s beautifully crafted and looks vintage. It is solid metal which gives a nice weight to prevents it from tipping over however it does leave a faint metal smell on my fingers, I’m hoping this wears off over time. The grinder and the refill slot were a bit stiff at first thankfully it only took a couple turns to break them in and I’m very happy with the actual grind I’m getting on my pepper. Also it came in a beautiful package and would be a great gift.

Die Mühle sieht nicht schlecht aus und auch die Funktionalität ist Ok, das einzige was ich feststellen musste, war, dass keine Halterung für den Löffel vorhanden war, so dass ich versucht habe den Stiel zu biegen, aber das ging voll daneben. Das Material ist brüchig, habe Metallkleber genommen.

So far so good. Brought this to grind up herb and spice seeds like coriander, cumin, mustard seeds etc. I followed the instructions how to clean it with a few grains of rice which I was impressed with. Have used it a couple of times now and works good and well. Handy removable base that gathers the grindings ready to use. Very useful and decorative too.
