Amazing for the Price!
This lighter surprised me in a number of ways, all of them good. Let's see if I can remember them all.... First, it came fully charged with butane. That was a nice touch. And the butane it came with is lasting a long time. I haven't counted the lights I have gotten so far (not OCD enough), but I have used it daily for over a month. I was also surprised at how small it is. It's just 3" long--if it were any smaller it would be difficult to hold securely. Also noteworthy is that it is completely unmarked: no brand name, no county of origin. It has never failed to light, producing three jets of nice hot blue flame. It's a great tool for lighting a cigar. My bottom line is that for the price this is a substantial-feeling, high-quality product. The only thing I would like that it lacks is a window showing the amount of fuel remaining.

Can't go wrong
Very nice little lighter. It has a sturdy build, a great flame, and looks great too. It's easy to adjust the flame height which is very helpful depending on what you're smoking. Easy to refill, and almost always strikes up a strong flame on the first try. I was a little worried about the switch becoming loose because I tend to fidget with it a bit, but it has held up great so far and is the only lighter I use now. The punch works great too if you like to punch your cigars (I prefer to cut personally but the few times I've tried the punch it works great. The only slight draw back is that it burns up fuel pretty quick but this can be managed by shortening the flame and not just messing around with it for fun like I do...Above all you can't find a better torch for this price, highly recommended. P.S. The carry bag is quite handy too, helps keep it free from scratches.

great product with a couple of slight hitches
works great, good: - looks like 3 afterburners, - weighty and solid feeling, reminds you of a watch or other high quality small heavy device, - my kid called it a lightsaber.... - works great in significant wind - puts out a very significant flame - can be used as a great hiking / camping fire starter - can be used in a pinch as a self defense item... feels like a roll of nickels in a fist and lighting it, then contacting someone else would induce a very significant pain instantly bad: - You MUST purge it and prime it before charging it with butane, then wait 30 minutes for the seals to set before using it.... it has an instruction book that has big STOP sign on it, but only on one side and it came out backwards and I didn't see the warning - the instruction book is vague with no pics, so it's not very user friendly, but understandable - it requires a deliberate pull on the slide to ignite so sometimes you get no flame if you are a little slow with it - the flame height adjustment doesn't go down far enough so if you are looking to save fuel, forget it, this thing chows butane fast - when lighting a cigarette, it's best to angle your head up, which most people don't do, because it puts out so much heat it will burn your face - with cigarettes, you need to take care to align the SIDE of the angled flame evenly across the tip of the cig so that you don't touch a third of the cig on the bottom It's still a great bargain, overall a great lighter, works really well with candles, lights a cigarette instantly...

Amazing for a triple torch
First off, the lighter has an amazing feel in your hand. I mean, just holding it makes you feel important. For all the people who say that the lighter has a "low capacity", that's because it's a triple torch, torch lighters waste butane like no tomorrow, and this has three. This particular lighter's fuel consumption is surprisingly good, if you know how to fill a lighter. Those who just push the butane on and release after a second do not know how to fill their lighters for more than one or two cigars worth. Push the butane canister downwards on the lighter filler nozzle and hold for about 30 seconds and it's got a good fill (all lighters are different). I use Ronson Multi-Fill with all my torches and it works great. I have friends who just play with my lighters. I light cigars, cigarettes, the bbq, and even hookah charcoals and i haven't filled it more than three or four times in the month that i've owned it. The punch works amazingly and lights my cigars in about 2 seconds, in any weather! It was -2 outside with heavy wind, and the torch lit up first pull of the switch! Great lighter that will impress even non-smokers. Love it and definite amazing addition to my collection. Great buy for anyone with any purpose.

Just like the novelty refillable lighters you get at the gas station it's a complete mess once you refill it :-(
At first I LOVED the lighter. Nice looking, seemed tough/durable, the triple flame just looks cool.Worked great for about a month. BUT, just like every refillable butane lighter I've ever owned, once you have to refill it it becomes a pain. Actually igniting is hit or miss, you have to shake the crap out of it to get it to actually light, etc. (once you refill it that is). Same thing happened to this one, well it was like that for a a couple weeks then it just totally stopped working. I think a seal or something broke on it now it won't even hold fuel. I followed all the precautions/steps including releasing pressure before refilling, letting it sit 10 mins, etc. Still broke on me. Also, what is the purpose of the little cigar cutter thing? I studied it several times and just can't figure out what it is it actually does. It can't be used to clip the end of the cigar and seems too small for anything else. Oh well, the lighter is broken and don't use it anymore so I guess the point is moot lol. Also, there is no window or indicator to let you know how much fuel is in it. This would be extremely helpful in knowing when to refill, or when refilling to know if it's full or if you're just pushing air in the thing (which apparently I was doing a lot since the damn thing NEVER wanted to light after refilling).

Great Lighter
Love this lighter. As long as I can buy another if mine stops working, I will buy another. I first bought about eight of these for the guys in my wedding party along with Butane Fuel . The guys had nothing but positive reviews initially and since haven't had a single problem. The flame on this thing is almost hot/large enough to weld. Not really, but it is plenty to burn any cigar and might burn a cigarette in half if you leave it on too long. I think I have mine at about 50% and it is plenty. Once full, the butane lasts quite a while also, you don't have to worry about filling up very often if you only use it for cigars (not real often for me). The punch is nice and easy to use, but tough to clean out without a small knife or something similar to help. I'm not a huge fan, sometimes would prefer a cutter, but that is just me. I bought a second set for my fifth wheel (lighter, fuel and Humidor ) since I work out of town and didn't want to be without cigars at home or on the road.

Fair for the money it cost.
Pro: Big it holds a lot of buttane, nice looking, the cigar puncher is great and cut cleanlly and easy. Con: For me is to big to take in my pocket, the flame flickers and spits, it is not steady at any setting ( used regular and super dupper filter buttane, it made no diference ), also, it never ever, ever, ever goes on on the first click, most time two or three times. I bought this and a cheaper model from Scorch at the same time, beside the apperance the performance from one to the other is day and night. I would not recommend this model to anyone from my experience with it.

Outstanding Lighter!
I love Scorch Torch lighters, but not all of them light on the first try (the Scorch Torch Aficianado is another favorite of mine that is extremely reliable). Rest assured that this one will definitely light first time, every time. Just MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ABOUT DEPRESSURIZING your lighter before filling with butane (they ship without any fuel in them). Also, as stated, these lighters work best if you only fill them to about 80% full. I'm not sure why they work that way, but it seems to be true (the Aficianado has a butane window to let you know how full the lighter is, but this one does not). If you do fill them to 100% it may take a few tries to get the lighter working to it's best ability. Make sure you wait about 10 minutes before trying the lighter as it takes a bit for the butane to work it's way and stabilize throughout the lighter. And, even plain old Ronson or Zippo fuel works like a charm, so there's no need to spend extra money on the more expensive butane fuels. You will also appreciate the nice weight of this lighter. It feels extremely expensive and the extra cigar punch is a plus, but I only smoke cigarettes so I haven't had to try that feature. Good luck with your purchase! Thanks for reading.
