Worked perfectly on my RAM 1500 2009
According to the mechanic that installed the part, i got one of the best in the market. So im going to take his word for it, and by the price i paid, i will say i recommend this with eyes closed.

Plan on needing help installing it
Was more complicated than I expected but was well worth having help removing the dash to remove it.

Good oem replacement
Doesn’t come with all the foam but works well and keeps the AC cold

So far so good!
To all the whiners. Take the foam off your old core and get some spray adhesive to attach it to the new one. Or spend $400 for one from mopar that comes with the foam on all sides. Also even mopar parts are now made in China. Plus you can buy a box of o-rings for $8. I paid $75 for this evap core and an expansion valve. Plus the o'rings and r134 recharge. Everything for less than $150 and 8 hours labor I saved $2000. let's hope this thing lasts.

I have cold air again
My Evap went down in my 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi truck and was blowing nothing but warm air. Found out Evap went bad and needed to be replaced. It's a major job because you have to take the entire dash apart to get to the evap. Most places will charge $1200 to $2000 for this repair. Luckily I know a local mechanic who offered to do it for $500 plus the $100 for this evap. Now I have cold air again. No complaints.

It was the right part for my 2011 ram 1500
In the pic the old evaporator coil is on the right, new one is on left. It looks like the right one, it fit just fine. I bought a cabin filter kit to keep the new coil clean so it will last longer.

This replacement evaporator fit perfectly aside from the fact that they were light on the foam surrounding the unit. I had to go through the trouble of pulling some of the foam off my dead unit to make up for this. Overall, it worked out great. Otherwise no issue at all and easily half the price of an OEM Mopar part. Given that the OEM part lasted less than 10 years, I wasn't going to replace it with the same anyway.

It looks like in the first picture that the core was tac welded to plug a pin hole. On the back side it looks like it was sitting on filler rod? On the table that it was being repaired on and it arced as it was welded. It may hold pressure, it may last years, but I'm not sure it will last as long as it could without damage. It sucks taking the dash out to replace, so I'm not even bothering installing a questionable part.
