Glad I took a punt on this after reading some reviews. I actually really only needed a decent blade for box cutting but thought I’d get something sturdier just in case I ever need it and I’m glad I did. The included blade is razor sharp and has no trouble gliding through thick cardboard like butter, with very little effort. It’s compact enough to pocket if you’re working, and light in the hand without compromising on build quality thanks to the metal grip. It’s also not remotely bulky either. The blade locks in place when open, which is easily done by pressing the release and flicking the wrist, and when you’re done it sits flush and locked inside the handle, so it feels nice and safe too. The only real drawback for me is that it didn’t include any extra blades for the future, but otherwise this is an absolutely perfect knife that should last a good while and handle a good range of tough jobs. Side note for UK buyers: because of the locking mechanism there are legal restrictions in place if you’re ever carrying this outside the home without good reason, so do bare that in mind!

This is a great knife. It is easy to open and close. Very effective, well built and sharp. It is so good looking, not like some of the other knives out there.

Very solid utility knife. The Fastback mechanism is smooth and locks positively, with no blade wobble and no risk of the blade coming loose on its own exactly what you want on site. Feels sturdy in the hand, compact in the pocket, and built to take abuse. This is not a fancy knife, it’s a real work tool . Milwaukee quality as expected.

Wanted to purchase a good box cutter that would last me a long time as I’ve been through a fair few that have ended up rusting in places or the blade extension mechanism got a bit sticky. As most know Milwaukee is well established and produce a lot of quality tools. This cutter almost feels like it’s ceramic coated with cerakote or something, feels very durable. Handy strap cutting ability when it’s folded away and a solid belt clip as well. Feels very nice in the hand as well. Very happy with this.

Just a really solid folding utility knife. A lot of folding knives are a little flimsy - fine for cutting boxes, but for things like carpet they struggle. The bigger knives that are great for those tough jobs tend to be larger and heavier, fine in a toolbox but a bit much in a pocket. This Milwaukee hits the middle ground perfectly. Folds neatly in the pocket, unfolds to a solid knife you can use on the toughest jobs. It's my most used knife. Builders keep nicking it so I have to buy is again. Note for UK: since the blade locks in place, this isn't legal as an every day carry. It wouldn't be as safe or secure if it didn't lock (the UK law is stupid).

Big fan of the tools in Red.. Milwaukee do some great quality products and this is one of them! I got one for myself which stays in my tool bag, when I used it my Dad noticed and really took a fancy to it so I got him one for Christmas and he's had nothing but positive things to say about it too.. Blade replacements are easy (I don't use Milwaukee blades) but it takes standard blades so no issues there. The hand fit is great, and the blade button is solid with the ability to one hand open which I appreciate. Safety is up there as without intentional opening I would find it hard to have it slip open but mine doesn't get a much abuse as some may who are daily users. Again, a great quality product.. would recommend to anyone. If you've got this page open to by a knife, this is the one.

Il peso di questo taglierino è di circa 109 grammi e durante le lunghe sessioni di lavoro è un dato che conta davvero tantissimo perché non vi stancherete. È progettato e costruito in modo eccellente ed è interamente in metallo di alta qualità tastabile sin dal primo utilizzo. A differenza della versione con l'alloggio per le lame, trovo che questo sia molto più comodo e funzionale in quanto non avendo alloggi per le lame è di fatto più leggero e dunque più comodo durante le lunghe sessioni di lavoro. È possibile tagliare cavi e corde in totale sicurezza sia da aperto che da chiuso sfruttando la rientranza nella zona posteriore del manico da cui si vede la lama in sede quando il taglierino è chiuso. Alla fine dell'impugnatura vi è un comodo occhiello da poter sfruttare o per appendere il taglierino alla parete attrezzata o per legare un cordino. L'apertura e la chiusura è davvero molto fluida, veloce e senza intoppi e in conclusione posso dirvi che adoro letteralmente questo taglierino e lo ritengo il migliore in assoluto. Pagato 20 euro non posso fare altro che consigliarvi l'acquisto quì su Amazon in quanto è venduto ad un prezzo davvero conveniente. Tagliegino Milwaukee - Voto 10 su 10 !!!
