I use a powerful sound bar as monitors. I find that to be a very effective set of speakers than adding more bulky wedges. I use this little adapter to bring in XLR from the mixer and then connect the 3.5mm jack coming from the sound bar. Systems works perfectly. I have given the sound bar remote to the lead singer. he can adjust the sound level however he wants. I can sit in the audience and just concentrate on the FOH
