I am of the school where immediate reviews are not very helpful. I want to know how durable things are and how long they last. Well, I've had this for a few months so really it's not as it should be so I'm breaking my rule here. I'm doing it because I'm pretty sure I know how durable it is. That would quite durable! Installation was easy. The arm is pretty strong, but after a time there is some slight drooping. I installed mine just a tiny bit higher than I thought I needed because I figured some drooping would occur and it did. In truth, I see tons of complaints about that on this model and another similarly priced model and honestly, I figure they have to be younger folks because I'm here to tell you that even back when we had metal everything, all these mirrors droop. It's just a fact of life. Also, I saw one who said that you cannot move it up and down and so downgraded it. Well, none of these are made to do that. Those are especially expensive. It's designed for the use of one person so whomever that person is, it should be measured for said person. just be sure you're aware of that. My advice is to install it just a wee bit higher than you normally would. The droop is actually about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. One useful thing I've found is using it for ambient light. I will take a relaxing bath and turn it on. Though the light isn't warm, it's still bright enough to see, but low enough to keep it relaxing. I have not tried to change the light bulb but know that this is a very cool light. If you work in an environment with cool light (most offices, etc.) this will be helpful but for those in warm light (outdoors, etc.) may want to find out if you can change the bulb. Along those same lines, the light in the mirror is a little insufficient. It is bright and it does make it easier to see, but be prepared to have it installed near other lights. My lights are above my mirror in the bathroom. I bought this primarily because my vision isn't what it used to be and I needed the magnification without having to lean over my sink and breaking my back. I quickly noticed though that this light was not enough alone. All in all, it meets my needs, so that's why I am giving it 5 stars.

I absolutely love this mirror. I have been wanting one for awhile and found this one. It wasn’t hard to install. It has a light on it which is very helpful. Overall I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

This is an excellent mirror with superior magnification (10x!) and I use it daily for makeup application.I have had cataract surgery and need bright light and the close-up magnification. Here's the but-- the lighted ring is great, but it burns batteries like no other. I do remember to turn off the light, but it seems like the batteries only last about 3 weeks before the light begins to dim. I would still buy it again because besides its utility as a magnifier, it folds flush against the wall and looks nice in the bathroom. It also securely attaches to the wall easily and is sturdy.

I have replaced batteries a few times, but the lights are not bright anymore. Not happy with this since it is screwed into my wall.

Easy to install. Magnification is super good, maybe too good. Wish it could plug in and not run off batteries but otherwise it’s great

It works well enough for what it is. Its got two clear mirrors although the x10 side is a little difficult to use, I might have tried a x7 or even x5 instead. Its got a light that doesn't do much but its better than nothing. Once mounted, its sturdy enough and we've had no problems with the arm staying where we put it. Maybe a tad on the tight side but I'd rather too tight than too loose and flopping around. Unlike some of the brands this one actually lays flat against the wall which is nice. Update, 9/15: Well, two days past the return window and theres already a problem with it. The thing has already gone through its first set of batteries, maybe its had 2 hours of total use. Its clearly draining the batteries when not in use. Not much to do at this point I guess. The drywall anchors this comes with are junk. I threw them out and used some more sturdy ones. The screws are fine, though. I had doubts about only mounting it with two screws and was going to use a third but the two seem to be fine for now. The back mirror snaps on and off to get to the batteries. It all works...its just cheap. But, its also inexpensive, so all and all I'd say its a good deal and I'd buy it again (and probably will when the LEDs inevitably burn out.) Wife is happy so I'm happy.

Great mirror to see very close up for eye makeup application and also to see back of head. Sturdy and well made. Easy to install but as someone else mentioned you may want to use better/bigger anchors than what supplied to secure it to the wall. The light is perfect and the arm allows you to your whole head/face from all angles. Batteries easy to put in and on/off switch easily accessible. The 10x is a little too strong but since I need this mostly for up close eye make up it is fine. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
