3D Mermaid Silicone Soap Mold 3D Handmade Craft Mould Longzang Soap Molds (S282)

I want to start by saying that I have several other Longzang molds that I absolutely adore. That's one reason I'm super disappointed in my latest order from them. I received 5 molds - none of them are in great condition: one I'll consider "usable" but not the quality I expected from them. The soap is gonna look a little off and uneven. One is just like that but a bit worse. And the other 3 are completely useless. I'm going to need replacements or a refund. I was counting on these molds for soaps for a special occasion and could not be more disappointed. They're also really "greasy" and have a strong chemical odor. My other molds from them in previous orders did NOT have that greasy film or the odor.*Update* I contacted the seller. They replied promptly and are sending new molds. Will update again when they arrive.

haven't used them yet but the sizing is really nice! It was definitely a good deal for the 2 molds. The only odd thing was the fact that they were covered in a liquid that smelled like bubbles........lol. bubbles. i guess maybe they were fresh from the line or something. lolFinally used these molds and they work perfectly! The one mold had some markings on the inside causeing the soap to have the same mark but was an easy fix.

Worth the wait!

These give the soap so much detail, each bar looks like a woodcarving. People are really impressed by these molds, and they are so easy to unmold and use. The one caveat is they are very sticky so if there is any dust or pet hair in the room it will end up stuck to these no matter what you do.

Other Longzang molds have been fine. These arrived very distorted: bottom is lopsided which forces the sides to be not square. The distortion is NOT from being shipped in a bubble bag, it IS from shoddy manufacturing - guess Quality Control fell asleep when these went through.Very, very disappointed; would have been a great soap mold set. Longzang gets one star on this purchase as I won't ever use them as they are - wasted money spent.

This is a very cute mold. I do wish it was a little bit thicker. It makes a smaller size bar than a regular bar of soap. The detail is amazing. I painted the details and also used colored soap to fill the details in. It is very beautiful when finished.

This is a highly detailed mold with a lot of little crevices to get the soap down into. If using multi colors with your soap, you will need to work quickly and efficiently. Mistakes will be noticeable. LolOther than this is a great mold and you get 2 for the price of one, so it's a great value. My multi colored one looked pretty awful haha so here is one with just 2 colors.

I made homemade soap from these molds. The thickness was on the mark and the detail of even the smallest shell was visible. Simple a delight.
