Lotos LT3200 32-Amp Non-Pilot Arc Plasma Cutter 1/4" Inch Clean Cut 220Volt Metal Cutter

So far so good. Have been using it to cut clean 0.060 and 0.120 inch mild steel sheet metal. There are a few short falls: the ground and power cords are somewhat short, the Chinese to English translation is poor both in the owner's manual and labels on the unit, and the owner's manual is very basic - not of much use. Beware of a problem in the owner's manual: the diagram to hook up the regulator/moisture separator and air line is incorrect. The air inlet and outlet on the regulator are reversed. I hooked it up as shown and luckily the regulator was not damaged. Also, depending on your 220 volt receptacle, you may need an adapter, I did. The unit has a 30 amp twist lock.

Let's be honest, you shouldn't expect much of a Plasma Cutter for $200. It's probably as good as it can be for the price. That said, I'm returning it. The one I got had a very poor regulator. Maybe it was defective or maybe that's just how they are. It was difficult to get dialed in and keep it dialed in, plus it constantly leaked air. My input pressure was within the specified range. When I did get it cutting, it was not fast, had a tendency to fill back in and the consumables seemed to wear very quickly (I did very little cutting and could already see significant wear). Also, the documentation was terrible. Fortunately, setup and use is fairly simple. Basically, it's cheap Chinese junk, which I knew prior to ordering, but some cheap Chinese junk is better than others.

Cuts good enough, only problem I see is when you squeeze the trigger to cut the air comes on and its cuts, but the air does not turn off when done cutting. So you have to stop what your doing and shut the machine off at the back. On like other plasma cutters I have owned where the air shuts off when done cutting.

I had to send the first one back because it was damaged during shipping. This one however worked just fine. I would buy a better one if I had to make a living with it, but for the back yard mechanic it's just fine.

Bought this cutter to help me with my mustang restoration had a lot of body parts to cut out. After a little trouble with the air regulator the maching is working great. Couldn't do this job without it. Glad I bought it and would recommend it to anybody needing a plasma cutter that has a small budget.

So far so good, Never had a plasma cutter. After a few consumables I figured it out...Mine works great.. I had to use less air and a high setting to get good results. I would recommend this Get a good air compressor to get good results....

Did not like it. I recommend the LTP 5000D. I sent it back for ltp5000d and i love it.The Ltp5000d is easier to use,starts up on demand. I also had to install 220 volt circuit which may have been my problem with the lt3200. I purchased the pigtail adaptor, which allowed the machine to arc but wouldnt work as designed. The ltp5000d is dual voltage but works best on 220v.

Cuts 1/8" like butter, 3/16" too. No issues so far, we will see how it holds up long term. But you cannot beat the price, and it beats using a cut off wheel any day!
