Pretty unique art.
I have finally completed my Nightmares and Fairytales collection. For some reason I never found the third book in stores. The book came in pretty darn good condition. Really the only thing that was making it looked used was the cover and the scratches are not noticeable at first glance. The series has gone through a couple different artists, Crab Scrambly being the second. His art is almost like Tim Burton mixed with Roman Dirge. I enjoyed looking at it. As for the Author's writing? I think Serena Valentino lacks the ability to make gripping characters and story. But I am nonetheless happy to have an unusual comic in my collection.

MUST buy!!!
This book series (even with the varying artists) is hands down one of the best I've ever read, and while the first volume will always be my favorite, the 3rd volume's story is really done justice by the creepy and twisted art! The book came really fast and in perfect condition, and I've already read and reread the story a bunch since it arrived!!

Love this Series
I love this series dearly. Although its true Annabelle isnt prominent in this installment and its not even particularly portrayed as a story of hers, it covers some new lore from earlier volumes. I appreciate it just adding to my collection though <3If youre unfamiliar with the series you might even be able to enjoy it as a standalone.

It was ok, but nothing compared to the other two.
In a word; Meh. This one was so wrapped up in itself it seemed to forget the other two books. The whole book is one story, already very different from the other wonderful comics, which often featured multiple stories. And the art is SO different from the first two that its distracting and the story itself was... well, I didn't care for it. It seemed to belong more to itself than to a series. The only thing we get to connect this book to the other two is more than on and less than five panels with Annabelle in it and even then she's not a big part of it. Take my advice; skip this one and go right to the fourth, it makes up for this one's lack of art and story completely. :)

You'll want it to have the complete set like I did but you won't be in love.
The story is odd and has a few tie ins from the original first vol (the nuns). I didn't hate it or find the style jarring. It is different from the first two books.

A comic that is amazing and I wish more people knew about.

A delightfully chilling tale
Having read the previous books, I have to say this one is different in a good way. It focuses on one story, and it is a very interesting story. As dark and twisted as some of the earlier stories may have been, this book is downright disturbing. If Stephen King had released this story under his name, it would have already been a Hollywood blockbuster and a best seller. But, because it's a graphic novel it remains in obscurity... how sad.

Great condition graphic novel
I was delighted to find a copy of Nightmare and Fairy tales! I’ve been looking for it for a while and this seller has a good condition copy at a reasonable price. Thank you!

I bought this not realizing it was a comic. At first I thought I would not like it as I am not a big comic fan.But I read the story and absolutely loved it!It was different and the story was really good.It ended with an unexpected twist. I must of read it in ten minutes.Even my mum liked, and she doesn't like comics.I will be buying all the other volumes later on.

Okay
The reason I rated it only okay, is not because the series sucked (which is the total opposite), but is because the book arrived in poor condition. It was an old library book with the first page ripped out. Not cool for selling on amazon.

Beautiful Book
Lovely illustrations that get the storyline across very well. Dark, haunting stories in true Serena Valentino style. Love this book!
