Mong Lee Shang Mochi with Taro Paste, Mochi Rice Cake, 10.5oz 10 Pieces

This taro flavored mochi with taro filling was pretty good. Since I live a bit far from the Asian markets, I decided to try some from Amazon. They came fast! No condensation (sweating) inside the package. The mochi was the perfect texture. I prefer a little more filling, but overall, these definitely satisfy my mochi cravings. The taro flavoring is a bit on the light side, and I would like a bit more taro flavoring, but that's my preference. These make for a great lightly sweeten dessert or snack. Their sesame seed ones are good too! Like a mix of sesame seeds and peanuts. I will definitely be buying more of these more often, especially their different flavors!

Meh, they are fine. Mochi on the sweet side, it over takes the taro paste flavor. Mochi to paste raito could be better, definitly needs more paste. The package is not great, once its opened they need to be stored in a ziplock style bag, the mochi dries out before I can finish all 10 pieces.

I'd use a photo, but they definitely didnt last more than a week. I told myself I'd ration them, I get 10 instead of just 6 mochi! so little space is wasted in the packaging, whereas circular mochi... they're not space efficient. really good taro filling, the outside is dusted in rice flour. it's REALLY sweet, and I recommend taking small bites from it, a single taro mochi stick should be a good treat now and again, without going through another one, or two. just might lose control.
