Glue quality: I built a cover to hang over a bed that is on a deck. The deck is already covered by a large lexan canopy but due to small leakages that occur in the large cover water drips on the bed. Accordingly I built a secondary protective screen that is 10 x 8 made from two and a half sheets of lexan and framed with wood. This protective shield is held in place by hooks against the house and by hanging chains on the opposite end. The framed structure is so large that the panels sag. To deal with this I use a chain in the very middle of the panels to lift the center enough to eliminate the sag. I accomplished attaching a chain in the middle by adhering a small circle of wood with a hook screwed into it. I sought the strongest epoxy I could find to glue the circle of wood to the poly carbonate (lexan) panel. This epoxy is awesomely strong! I tested it first using a trial piece of lexan and afterwards moved ahead with using it with no reservations whatsoever. The outcome was terrific! I treasure having this epoxy available for whatever future need comes up.

I didn’t know that not all epoxies were alike. This worked amazingly. Clear, easy to mix, instructions very clear, used on very fine porcelain and nothing shows and you can’t see a break at all. Results will have to do with type of break and material plus the skill of user I’m fairly dexterous but pretty sure if I can do it most anyone can. Also used the epoxy on a large plastic melamine bowl and have washed and stirred in it without taking any extra care using it, and it’s held up. Pretty sure this isn’t food-safes and instructions might even say that. I use for food if it’s not going to be in the bowl for an extended period. Very happy with it and would repurchase
