Eddie Bauer - Queen Duvet Cover Set, Reversible Bedding with Matching Shams, Plaid Home Decor for All Seasons (Port Gamble Blue, Queen)

I have purchased multiple duvet covers from Eddie Bauer and this one is just as great as the other. Button closer 6-10 inches from the bottom of the cover. Pillow shams open in the middle, weekly washing with bleach and no color fade, dogs sleep in the bed and they haven't torn any holes in it. Great durability and beautiful color!

Product image is very representative of actual color and pattern. I only wish there were corner ties sewn into the inside as most duvets come with loops and it does help with bunching. It would have also been nice to have had a better closure system than only buttons. Cheaper covers have hidden zipper closures.

It would be nice if it had a way to attach to the comforter. There are no ties or buttons so I’ll have to add my own to keep the comforter from sliding. Pattern is nice and the pictures represent the colors well.

I bought this comforter at the beginning of February, so I've had a chance to use it during Winter, Spring, and Summer here in western WA. It is a good Winter comforter and for those colder Spring nights. For me, I tend to run hot all of the time, so I can't use it all year long. For example, I've had my bedroom AC unit running since late March or early April and it's still running and will not likely be turned off until October when I will finally need to turn on the furnace. I like a cold bedroom because I can get hot at night. I have not had this on my bed since May and it was usually folded down to the foot of my bed for Spring.This comforter looks great and is very well made. I have a lot of confidence in being satisfied with Eddie Bauer products whether they are clothing or home products. I'm sure it will last for a long time and I think I made the perfect purchase for my needs.

11/14/22 I’ve never purchased a duvet that didn’t have ties to hold the comforter in place. The fabric is okay, not great. The description isn’t accurate. The colors are more of a denim blue, rust, and purple. Not attractive. I would return this item, but I need to use it right away.

When putting the duvet into this cover there are no places to secure the corners, middle or anything. Every other cover has had something. Nice work.

This is a good comforter, and looks exactly like the picture. I gave it a four instead of a five because there are several areas on the comforter where the stitching is tight so it puckers. It didn't bother me enough to send it back, however. I have purchased this comforter several times, as well a red ones.

This duvet cover and pillow case look great in my son's room and he likes them very much they are comfortable and wash well for Eddie bauer its not as soft as I would have expected them to be but I'm still happy with the purchase

I'd had my eye on this duvet set for months but waited for it to come way down in price before I ordered it. There's no way I'd pay the approx £100 that it currently costs!! When I first took it out of the packaging it felt a bit synthetic, not the 100% cotton the label states it is, but after washing it it does feel like total cotton - and, unlike most regular 50% cotton / 50% polyester duvet sets, it creases, if proof was needed! So, that means it'll need ironing to make it look smoother, and I don't normally need to iron my bedding (😕). Being 100% cotton though it should be comfortable to sleep under and make me less hot than some of the more synthetic bedding can!The letdown for me of this set is the stitching, which seems a bit basic for a designer set that isn't cheap (unless it's on offer!), and I have duvet covers that have better stitching that cost a fraction of the price of this set. Also, the opening of the duvet cover is in an odd location - not right at the bottom, as with most duvet covers here in the UK, but several inches up from the bottom so I'm hoping that won't make it more difficult to get my duvet inside it properly! Other than that though I like it.P.S. I don't know why some of the American reviewers on the .com site have complained that this set isn't flannel, and have marked it down accordingly. Nowhere in the product details on the UK site does it state that this set is flannel! It's not!! It's 100% thick'ish regular cotton.

This cover is cotton and washes well. YouCan tell it’s a good quality bed sheet. This has a different plaid on both sides. More of a “masculine” look but a good purchase.

The description says flannel and cotton sateen. It is definitely NOT flannel. It looks like flannel, but it is flat cotton with a plaid pattern stamped on it. I was looking for flannel for the warmth, so I am extremely disappointed. The background colour looks white in the pictures, but it is very cream-coloured (yellowish). The good things about it are the clear, sturdy, buttons the extra fabric that folds in to cover the buttons on the duvet cover. It seems decently made, but if you are looking for a white background and flannel, this is not it.
