I’ve used it for smoothies, sauces, and crushing ice for cocktails, and it performs consistently well every time. For the performance and durability, it’s an excellent value compared to other high-end blenders. It does the job and it does it well. It can handle frozen things to make a smoothie. It's probably the largest blender I've owned, which I'm okay with though it's a little larger than I need. The blades are tough. They create the smoothie quickly. No leaks so far. In terms of downsides, be very careful around the blades. With the blades extending up through the center of the pitcher, it is easy to get cut. Also, it can be a little tough to arrange the frozen items around the center blade. But as long as you are careful, this works really well.

Just replaced my 10+ year old blender that finally died, and this one is a huge upgrade. It blends super well and everything comes out smooth really fast. The stack blade design honestly makes a big difference compared to my old one. Really happy with it so far — definitely worth it!

Another great Ninja product. I finally bought a vitamix. But I bought what was probably the only blender without a pulse button. On/off dial 1-10 and hi/lo switch. I gave it th hummus test. Worked ok on low dialing it up, but if you put it on hi, I was like a jet taking off. Extremely loud and shook everything. I thought it would burn out the motor. Returned it. Bought a low end Ninja and pocketed the cash back. It passed the hummus test easily, where I need the most power. I understand some people don’t like the “blade tower” but I think it really pays off for a number of things. That said, it does everything else very well. Bear in mind this is a $100 blender. Not a powerhouse, but quiet with enough power for the tasks you want. Smoothies, protein shakes, ice, etc. 96K 4.5 stars can’t be wrong. Unless you make peanut butter and hot soup, save your money. Highly recommended.

What I Loved: 1) Very strong blending power for ice and frozen ingredients 2) Auto-IQ programs are convenient and consistent 3) Large 72-oz pitcher ideal for family or batch prep 4) Great for thick smoothie bowls 5) Easy cleanup. I just remove the blades, carefully clean it and then clean the pitcher A Few Things to Consider: 1) It is loud on high power — which is expected for a 1400-watt blender. 2) It doesn’t blend as evenly when making very small single servings. The pitcher works best when filled at least halfway, so this may not be ideal if you frequently make one small smoothie at a time. Overall, this is a reliable, high-powered blender that performs very well for smoothies, frozen drinks, and everyday blending. It’s best suited for families, meal preppers, or anyone regularly making larger batches. If you mainly make single-serve smoothies, you might prefer a personal blender. But if you want power and capacity, this one delivers.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my ninja blender!!! It blends perfectly. The parts comes off making it easy to clean and the lid locks in place so no accidents!

Love the power of this blender. Bought it specifically for smoothies. The smoothie function is great! Pulses until large pieces are broken down then blends until everything is nice and smooth. Highly recommend!
