Very light and translucent. Looks more opal in real life, rather than silvery in the online photos.

This thread is absolutely worthless. Not only is it so thin that it breaks under no pressure at all, but it frays. Don't waste your money.

This is a good quality metallic thread for either machine or hand embroidery.It has a good luster, and is easy to work with and doesn't twist or knot on pull through.I can't comment on how it washes or cleans, as I'm still working with it, but given it's other qualities, I'm sure it will stand up to wear as the pigment is within the thread fibers themselves.Very good quality and highly recommended.

Bit thin, but it worked on my gloves to make them work with my phone.

Fly fisherman who like to tie flies. This thread is perfect. thinner than the pearly fly fishing branded threads, and 200m on a bobbin will keep you busy for ages.

I purchased this thread to complete a Christmas scene, its perfect it glistens like crisp snow. A good strong thread, would purchase again.
