Downspout diverters allow you to manually redirect the flow of water. Just a flip of the lever sends the rainwater down one side or the other. Overall height for the 2x3 group is 18 inches and 28 inches for the 3x4 group.

Well Built and will last longer than I
Came just before two weeks of rain in Ohio.Well constructed. Cheaper solutions but not sure of how long they would last. This one will. Color matched my downspout precisely.Did not have to cut or crimp downspout to fit -- nicely sprung the one into the other.Due to construction of downspouts (90 degrees off photo), switched the Zig-Zag to the top which provided enough offset for the downspout to run along the wall and the flip to the rain barrel. Used a Flex elbow 2x3 coupler and the piece I cut out. Worked well.Note: Some say doesn't seal well. Nope. But if you got a deluge, you would want it to go to all available outs and NOT backup the downspout when the barrel fills. Normal rain fills rain barrel nicely. Functionally a good design.Came fast! Well packed!! With more than enough sheet metal screws. Some would say pricey. I say built to last.Installed on two rain barrels which drain 1 and 1/2 story roof areas. And setup rain gardens on the downspouts ....And have dried out my foundation a lot!

Works but not as easy to install as it claims to be
I'm pretty handy so I figured it out but the instructions weren't as clear as day. Might turn some people off who would otherwise be inclined to install a rain barrel. Like I just kinda figured that I need to use the hacksaw to cut a section out of my current downspout, even though it didn't actually say this. Also, a list of tools needed would be a plus at ordering time. I had all tools required (socket for the drill, hacksaw, needle nose pliers) but not everyone used to work at THD and collects tools like I do.Works good though, with the switch to divert water to either side. Would buy again.

works great!
this is so much better than the generic white plastic things they sell in the local hardware store. the brown matched my existing guttering perfectly. it was easy to install and the diverter is easy to switch back and forth. it fills my rainbarrel for garden irrigation but i can switch it over to regular downspout when the barrel is full to keep it from overflowing. very handy in winter when we put up the barrel for the season. it is more expensive than those white plastic things but it is so worth it to me. it looks like it is part of the original gutter system and blends well with the house. worth every penny!

Great product, fair price.
I bought this diverter in order to set up a rainwater collection system. It's a clever design and well worth the money when you start to compare it to similar products on the market. There were no missing parts and it was relatively easy to install. The color match was perfect and it looks exactly like the metal downspout parts from the local home center so it just blends right in. It works great except I did note some very minor leakage splashing up around the diverter lever during a heavy rain. That was not surprising given the volume of water, and the leak was so minor as to not be an issue.

Performs as advertised
Hook-up was very simple. My only quibble is something I should have anticipated, in that my 8" exterior wall on slab foundation left little room for elevating the rain barrel after installing this diverter. Still, I'd buy it again. Install is painless and intuitive. The pieces included in the package give you a couple of different options to adjust to your own situation.

This works perfect. It is of good quality we are now ...
We were trying to find a way to divert our gutter rain water for our rain barrel in the event of rain barrel overflow. This works perfect. It is of good quality we are now going on our second year with it and have not had any problems. The material is of excellent quality and we were able to match the color of our downspouts.

A good choice
It took a little time to figure out and install, but I dont do drainpipe installation much. It can easily be switched over to the regular down spoutwhen the rain barrel is full. It looks like it belongs to our white downspouts, rather than something cobbled on. This is important since it is in aprominent place. I'm glad I chose to get this one.
