Updated/ added chapters make this text worth purchasing if you have the old edition.

Not a better way to review the easily forgotten details.
Personally, studying with the question and answer format is very productive. This is not going to provide a base of knowledge but is useful for the common questions that you will get in residency and a good review of details before tests.

This book has a lot of the figures misprinted - a significant portion of important tables and graphs are misprinted and it is very frustrating. There definitely needs to be a revision and reprint.

The book has numerous mistakes. There is no difference in the first south east asia edition and this edition. So why pay so much of money...this is the reply from Elsevier to me " I apologize for the delay in my response. I have been advised by the Content and Editorial Team that they will review the content of the editions you have pointed out and apply the corrections on the next edition. Love it. Great resource for our GPR. Most of the info is beyond what would be applicable for a general dentist, but very worth while for rotations in anesthesia, oncology, oral surgery.
