I had long suspected that my son would sleep better with a weighted blanket, but he is such a hot sleeper that I didn’t know how we’d make it work. During the summer he normally sleeps with just a sheet so that he doesn’t get overheated. We solved this by putting an ice pack in bed with him. He lays on the ice pack (it’s a nice gel pack with a fabric cover) and then we cover him with a sheet and the weighted blanket, and then a comforter if needed. In the morning we pop the ice pack in the freezer and we’re ready for bedtime!It does help him fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Occasionally we forget to bring it when we travel and then it takes him more than an hour to fall asleep. Sometimes we use it while reading books before bed and just resting during the bed.I purchased this when my son was 6 and 52 lbs. I chose the 7 lb blanket based on his preference and expected growth.

My child used to scream all night. It didn't matter if he rubbed his own sleepy eyes for any amount of time, listened to a 4 hour loop of lullaby music, projected stars on the ceiling, laid down in the silent darkness, fans on, white noise machines, practiced sleep hygiene, or ANYTHING. This child WOULD NOT SLEEP. Until he hit 30lb, there was no solution. I've never had a single issue with getting these blankets clean. They're worth every penny.Here's what you should know: if your kid cannot lift blankets over their head or are not 30lb, they aren't ready for a weighted blanket. 10% bodyweight is recommended. If they sweat the bed, put a sheet under the blanket as the glass beads retain and reflect that body heat. For us, this blanket is most effective with a white noise machine.

The blanket arrived quickly and was well wrapped. My granddaughter loves it: it’s pink, it has unicorns on it, it’s cozy! Wonderful things for a 5-yr old!

The blanket construction and print have good quality. It feels durable. My only wish is that the fabric was softer. It's pretty scratchy, and since my toddler is used to a bamboo blanket, this blanket is not comfortable for him. I'll probably need a duvet for comfort, but then it covers the cute print.

My 2 year old tossed and turned and would jump into bed with me at some point at night (every night) but it's been 3 night since I bought this blanket and my little one has slept threw the whole night in her own bed!!!!! 🤩🤩

Our daughter (just under 2 years) loves this blanket and she usually doesn’t stray from her fav baby blanket. She didn’t even notice her baby blanket wasn’t in her bed since getting this one and has slept great.

Bought for my 4 year old and she loves it. It's really warm, she says she loves sleepin with it. Only purchased the 5lbs as that's what's best for her weight and size. Only issue is, it's so small. It's not a big blanket, more of just a small throw blanket for a toddler. Doesnt go over any edges of her twin bed.

Bought this weighted blanket for a steal of a deal. It arrived just over 24hrs later -shipping was so quick! The fabric is soft, looks well made and feels so nice to lie under. Can't wait to see how my daughter does with it tonight to get her to sleep faster.
