saved my tripod from getting thrown out.
Somehow I lost the quick release plate for my tripod. I saw some new tripods that were so inexpensive but I already knew and liked my tripod and all I needed was a new quick release mount. This one is well made and fit perfectly (after I measured the tripod head). It works just as well as the original. I've already used it for many shots as it fits all my cameras.

Perfect and money saver!
I recently was given a good tripod but it did not have the release plate. Instead of buying a new tripod I picked this one up saving money. It was easy to find the correct plate and came same day in my case. Fits and works perfectly. I would buy additional ones if I needed them.

Great Quality
It is well built and would work perfectly for any camera/laser stand.

Fits the tripod body - but you must know/measure the size of the bottom base
Good spare mount. Excellent value for the money. Gave 4 stars for versatility as the screw is slightly shorter than the original. Works on most devices, however the Polystudio has a recessed mounting hole and the screw does not quite reach. The original still works so it is not a big deal for me.

Most versatile tripod size, low cost
I have 5 different tripods right now and I've bought a few other tripods for my boys. So I've bought probably 10 different tripods over the past 5 years. I need multiple sizes of the quick releases. This one is one of the most versatile sizes. It's easy to put in and take out. This is a low cost quick release.
