So I've been in this fur a couple of weeks now. I go in the end of the week after labs to see what changes it may have made. It has, however, has a very unexpected but pleasant side effect and due to this, my second bottle will arrive today. With men, I know type 2 has a bad side effect of causing ED. While I have spent countless hours researching products and trying different ones, combinations and no real positive effect.....I can say that the couple of weeks I have used this product, one before each meal, and here I am a couple of weeks later and practically all ED issues are gone and no more. It could be the Berberine ingredient doing it but whatever it is, I'm thrilled and not complaining one little bit. Feels great to know that this is not an issue for me any longer and I am excited to see my lab work at the end of this week at my Dr visit so I can tell her about it. I started taking Blood Sugar IQ about a month ago and didn't want to write a review until I got past the placebo effect phase of taking a supplement. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to eat and I tend to go overboard at times. I mainly wanted Berberine to control hunger by controlling leptin and also to inhibit lipoprotein lipase (LPL). I did get bloodwork about two weeks into taking Blood Sugar IQ and my HDL was elevated, as expected. I will continue to order and monitor how Blood Sugar IQ is aiding my current diet. I was told that berberine would help with insulin sensitivity. After trying this product, I don't feel as lathargic after high carb meals. This is great as I love having a pizza for lunch at work.
